I like how this book is focused on general hand lettering and not just "calligraphy," which is what most other books focus on.
This book is put together much like attending a class on hand lettering - that's good because I feel like I'm learning more, and its very well organized, but its bad for someone who just wants to pick up the book and practice letters right away.
I do wish there were some more examples of different hand lettering alphabets (or fonts), but overall this book is very instructive.
I looked at this book visually. It's a book to be studied. I just don't have the time. Or, I should say I don't make the time. The Calligrapher's Bible is the book I like. It's a small spiral book perfect for my needs.
