This is a fantastic new collection of short stories and much more, with brand-new stories from 25 of Britain's favorite authors including Joanna Trollope, Jilly Cooper, John O'Farrell, Penny Vincenzi, Kathy Lette, Marika Cobbold, Marina Warner, and Toby Young. Totally Magic will raise funds for the charity PiggyBankKids, which supports fundraising efforts for a wide range of British charities who create opportunities for children and young people.

I really don't know why I keep persevering with short stories because guess what? I didn't read all of them...just a few selected stories by authors I generally like...& packed it in.
I enjoyed "The Mermaid" by Penny Vincenzi...though I'm sure I've read it before, maybe in a women's magazine, it seemed very familiar. I also liked "Sheer Magic", "The Nurglar" & Battenberg Cake.
I very was disappointed with Jilly Cooper's entry - it was an anecdote (& an old one at that) rather than a story & I read the first two pages of Recipe for Disaster & gave up on it!
