Edward K. Beale writes from The Improbable House in central New England, USA. As the creative force behind Expeditionaire, he uncovers performance secrets from art, history, and travel. His books have earned industry awards and his poetry has been painted on sidewalks. Ed is a Founder's Circle member of the MetroWest Writers Guild, former editor of the monthly magazine Howling Gale, and regular speaker at human performance, sales enablement, hacker, and workplace learning conferences. He earned a MA (Educational Technology) from San Diego State University, Masters Cert (Instructional Systems) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a BS (Civil Engineering) from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy. When not in the "I. H. Writing Bunker" he's hiking New England or on travel anywhere the budget allows. Ed likes a cold Imperial Stout, blended Bourbon, or a slightly chilled Cabernet Sauvignon - not necessarily in that order or all at once.
