INSIGHT is the second book in the INTWINE Saga. It is the continuing story of eighteen year old Juliette Greenmoss of Burbank, California. Just as Juliette is almost comfortable with the fact that the person she's fallen in love with, Seth Morrison, is from a planet 55,000 light years away, she learns more shocking details about his life and the nature of the galaxy. Forces of good and evil converge in this galactic adventure and Juliette must confront more evil than she ever imagined when the love of her life suddenly disappears.
Christina Moss is the author of INTWINE, INSIGHT, INCIRCLE, INVIRAL, and Vampire of My Dreams.
Born in Winchester, Massachusetts Christina was raised and educated in New England where she worked as a teacher and guidance counselor for a private school in Cambridge.
Insight is the continuation of Seth and Julie's story. Seth has gone back home for a few months, and Julie has to go back to high school. They keep in touch, but can't wait for the days to pass so they can see each other again for the Christmas holidays. Soon enough, Seth is back on Earth, and he and Julie have another grand adventure.
I absolutely refuse to spoil this story by giving too much away, so I will stop here. :)
My thoughts:
Wow! I loved this book as much as Intwine. Seth and Julie's relationship became more serious, and I liked the love and dedication that they have towards each other. I also really liked getting to know more about their day-to-day lives, and the people they interact with on their respective worlds.
I think that the descriptions of the alien cultures and advanced technologies were very well done and creative in Insight. All of it was well-explained, and it was interesting to read about.
There was lots of action and romance in this book, and some of the things that happened were nail-biting. I didn't know what would happen next, and that made reading the book more fun.
I hope book 3 - Incircle will be out soon. The sneak peek at the end of Insight was very attention grabbing, and I am anxious to see how it all turns out!
Better than Twilight. A great young adult intergalactic sci fi romance adventure !! A rollicking fun young adult adventure romance novel that takes you across the galaxy and back again. There is plenty to like in this sci fi romance adventure from Christina Moss. She weaves a story around a California high school girl who hits the jackpot when she falls for a handsome young man who happens to be a prince from another planet. This wonderful story takes long distance romance to a whole new level. Follow Jules and her love Seth across the universe to Artigun and other planets, as Jules learns about her special powers and Seth is captured by space pirates. The characters are fun and well developed, and the settings are vividly described. Good, clean fun and adventure make a great read for girls and boys alike. Better than Twilight, I recommend Insight and the Intwine Saga series to everyone.
Wow! If I am this excited about this book now at 63, how would my 15 year old self react to this book? I think I would have been screaming up and down the streets and yelling about it!
This is the sci-fi I needed back then. This is strong fem, planet-hopping, space-shippy sci-fi! Okay, there is a little romance thrown in but it helps with the story line and to help you get to know all the characters better and even care for the guy.
I wish I could afford the next of the books right now. The blurb added to this book shows it is written from another point of view, one I have a curiosity about. I may just forego something else in my meager funds of the moment and jump at it.
I will read these again and again. These books are that much fun!
