Dale Carnegie was an American writer and teacher of courses in self-improvement, salesmanship, corporate training, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. Born into poverty on a farm in Missouri, he was the author of How to Win Friends and Influence People (1936), a bestseller that remains popular today. He also wrote How to Stop Worrying and Start Living (1948), Lincoln the Unknown (1932), and several other books.
One of the core ideas in his books is that it is possible to change other people's behavior by changing one's behavior towards them.

I inherit this book from my dad, who got it as a gift for being the best participant in Dale Carnegie course. This book gives me spirit and courage to face the future.

Inspiration and insights that transform businesses and lives. I "won" this book at a Dale Carnegie seminar. Truly a treasury of the wisdom of the ages to achieve a higher level of success. Karen Briscoe, author and podcast 5 Minute Success

This isn't a novel, but it is a wonderful collection of inspirational and thought-provoking quotes. Truth be told, I haven't read through all of the pages. It is a great book to pick up and flip through, letting your finger stop on a page randomly. You'll be sure to enjoy what you've found.

Side note: One of my friends posts a new one at work each day and has enjoyed the positive response from her co-workers.
