Rate this book
Hoping for a fresh start and a place to prove she’s worthy, Lily heads to the small mountain town of Snowflake to reopen her grandmother’s bakery.

What she wasn’t prepared to find was the handsome single dad next door . He’s everything she needs on her long, lonesome nights. He’s charming, sexy, funny—he’s all the sugar she needs.

Rendezvous with the neighbor she can do. It’s her lack of baking skills that has her questioning if she really can fake it ‘til she makes it.

When she learns her sisters are securing a buyer for the bakery behind her back, she’s more determined than ever to make it a success and prove to the haters that she can be the woman she aspires to be.

This book was a surprise for me. I went in expecting one thing, but the story was so much more. Lily moves to Snowflake with one of her two sisters to reopen their grandma's bakery. Someplace she didn't spend a lot of time at but has fond memories of and safe feelings for of her grandma and the bakery. The third sister shows up repeatedly to what she describes as to help, I'm sure Lily would beg to differ. There are sibling rivalries to be worked through, Lily's people pleasing ways that have led her to doing what others want her to do yet leaving her lost causing Lily to look like a flake. Then there's Jagger. Her sexy neighbor who runs the grocery store next door, and who would love the bakery space to expand his business into. Jagger is a single father, and oh my does his young son Casen steal the show! Misunderstanding, lack of communication and secrets abound!
