I loved this book & the authors love of lipstick. It nicely explained why *I* love red lipstick & none of my honeys have. I have recently gone back to lipstick after a hiatus of a couple of years because I am not wearing any other makeup & I love the look of lipstick on a bare face. That my lipstick keeps someone from kissing me is a bit sad but at my stage of life I don't have that many takers anyway! A wonderful little book full of fascinating facts about humans coloring their lips from all time periods.
