A historical fiction about the Irish potato famine. Written at a 5th-6th grade level. Great educational book for kids.

My 6th grade English teacher wrote this book (when I was in 6th grade). I've had it on my shelf (signed) since 1983. I'm finally reading it :-)

Not bad. It is historical fiction about the Irish Potato famine, so it's not fun and happy, but it's a good way to learn about that time at about a 5th/6th grade level.
