The Green Operations Integrating LEED Into Commercial Property Management was developed to assist multi-tenant office owners and managers, as well as their service providers, in reducing the environmental impact associated with commercial real estate operations. The content of the guide articulates the business case for sustainable asset management and provides practical guidance on ways to reduce and measure energy, waste, water, etc. The information in this guide has been developed to assist building owners and managers in greening their operations to meet LEED O&M standards. This guide also includes sample policies, practices and examples, as well as an online repository of usable worksheets and checklists that project teams can alter for LEED O&M certification submittals within LEED Online. These templates were reviewed by GBCI. The first section of this guide focuses on the business case and financial benefits of Green Operations Management. the second and third sections of this guide focus on how to green ones operations conceptually and in practice respectively.
