It definitely wasn't the best one to just stop the series with. Though, I can understand this one being the kiss of death to the series. Twelve year olds having to make important decisions bt their careers and romance was a bit aggravating. And most of the book was spent in a lame feeling inadequacy and anxiety that I would expect to see in an older book (think about the growth of lameness in life that happened in the Harry Potter series - tougher topics came up as the intended audience grew older).

Also, 4 books per year, 1 per term, makes for a lot of books if the series was going to be continued all the way through her training at the school. I liked having the detail, and I'm sure those who wanted to just keep reading no matter how long it went didn't mind. But I'm guessing publishers aren't too excited about a 28 book deal.

It's a shame, bc you get real involved.

This series is amazing to read! I am so sad this was the last book. This book didn’t seem like the ending. I read this series for sun in high school when I was into ballet

This was a great addition to an absolutely amazing series! Although, I thought Ellie was kinda being a brat at the beginning of the book, and that bugged me, but then it was really good! Read this and the rest of the series!

I enjoyed this book, but spent much of it being annoyed at Ellie for making poor decisions. But then again she's only twelve. I am glad to say she figures it out by the end!
