One of the best supplements in the series - a fresh take on the usually so maligned underground dark elves, here sympathetic and nice yet not entirely innocent. Their caves are impressive, their conspiracies vast, their motives more or less understandable, and they have a nuclear reactor on the works. There's very little fantasy that can't be improved by adding in some nuclear stuff. Too little of that nowadays.

Also, one of my favourite secret conspiracies anywhere: orc city secretly run by a retirement home. That's some genius stuff right there.

Great background story for the one drow elf character in my campaign, but otherwise didn’t use the setting.
