6 Yellow Balloons: An MK's China Story

Rate this book
From the author of groundbreaking books about trailblazing women of missions comes Rosalie Hall Hunt's own story -- an inspiring memoir about coming of age as a 'missionary kid" in China and embracing her parents' legacy by answering God's call to serve as an international missionary. At times funny, sorrowful and exhilarating, 6 Yellow Balloons is a story to which every "third-culture kid" can relate. Hunt's early years overseas echo an experience that will ring a bell for those who have found themselves in unfamiliar territory or uncharted cultural waters. Turn these pages and discover how six yellow balloons provided a touchstone for an eight-yer-old thrust into the midst of all things new. This is Rosalie Hall Hunt's missions adventure, and she invites the reader along for her journey home - to China.

I love all of the books by Rosalie Hall Hunt. She is an excellent writer. She was the daughter of missionaries to China and her stories tell about things that took place there. This is one of her best.
