I revisited this for the first time since childhood (where I'd bought everything that says SAS or Survival on the cover) rereading with a more critical eye I'm not sure why anyone works want to follow the advice of someone who hadn't completed SAS selection, in a 1993 guide that is very outdated (only gym once a week and do circuit training otherwise you just get useless show muscles)

Advice for training the hills phase includes moving to Brecon for a month so it's not really applicable to ever day life

I've had this book for years and go back to it time and again. It's great.

It's a book that has elementary information about exercising. It would be a good guide for starters who want to be in shape.
