I enjoyed reading this series. It was a quick read, but very entertaining. Christian superhero fans who want more than Bibleman should find a lot to like. I only took off a star in my rating of the series because of there were some instances where the prayers and biblical message felt a bit forced. I get and appreciate that the author was trying to show how things would be different if a Christian received superpowers as he or she would process things through their Christian worldview. In fact, that's what made me want to read this series. However, the prayer scenes just seemed very formulaic to me like they were all taken from prayer cards bought in a Christian bookstore. I also felt like I was in a sermon instead of a comic book during some scenes. That said, though, the overall quality of the writing, characters, and art was very top notch and I'll definitely be giving the series another read in the future.
