I'm surprised this book is rated so high. I really found it just ok. My son didn't have a strong reaction to it. It has some information about animals in the fall. I added a discussion about seasons when reading this with my child. The dialogue between the girl and the man is in bubbles and didn't make for a smooth read aloud. The bird feeder project at the end is cute.
