Blood is not always thicker than water. Sometimes it’s poison.
He made my heart and body feel things I’d never thought possible.
But he also hurt me. Used me. Betrayed me.
And I did it right back to him.
But only to save him.
Because in the end, the reasons Simon had for using me to get to Sybil, were entirely justified and I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the exact same thing.
My sister is evil. A monster. And she needs to be stopped.
But first, I'll need the help of the one man who might know my sister better than even I do. A man who is currently sitting in federal prison for crimes of espionage and treason. All because of me.
I have a plan though. One that will not only get Simon’s name cleared but will also get his whole team of Ghosts off the hook. Time is running out though. Sybil is closing in and every day that goes by I can feel her evil presence like a lingering nightmare.
I have to get Simon free and convince him to trust me one last time. Then he can do exactly what he wants, disappear, just like a Ghost.
And take my heart with him.

Anne Roman is the author of suspenseful and thrilling romance novels. Her books are fast-paced, steamy, and will leave you on the edge of your seat! When not writing, Anne can be found at home with her kids, pets, and a husband who still sweeps her off her feet.
Catch Me is the third and final book in the Dangerous Entanglement Series. I have been on the edge of my seat with this series. The mystery, intrigue, suspense, and Hannah and Simon....I just couldn't get enough of them. While this trilogy is over and Hannah and Simon got their HFN, hopefully, we'll get to see more from Hannah, Si, Rue and Michael in a spin-off of some sorts. 🤞 This is DEFINITELY a must read!
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series. Mostly because even though there is some romance the focus is on the danger, the spying and the outsmarting others. At times everything develops a little quickly, but it also makes these books perfect to read in one setting. Today I had another 2 hours after finishing another book and it was exactly enough to read this arc.
Once more the pacing of the book is quite high. There's a lot happening and there is a lot of action. I think it's almost impossible to grow bored while reading this book. Especially because the action actually leads somewhere and maybe even more because there is no saving some damsel in distress in this book. The lady can perfectly save herself.
Since this book is more about the bond between the sisters and how far one of them is willing to go there is not that much time for the romance to be developed. There is quite clearly some very strong physical connection between these characters and they can state why they like the other, but as a reader I would have loved some more emotional conversations between them.
However, it's quite clear that now the series has ended the characters might get the time to figure things out. It therefore feels like the author could have written another book to tie up some loose ends, but on the other hand the way those loose ends will be tied up is quite predictable and therefore maybe not worth an entire book of its own.
If you need some quick read with some nice fighting scenes and some action this series is totally worth checking out!
So after the ending in book 2 I wasn't sure where this book might go, but it starts off with quite a bang. Hannah left the team in quite a difficult situation and I wasn't sure if she could redeem herself with them.
Some of the breadcrumbs from the first two books start to make some sense and we also find out more about Sybil - there's actually quite a big bomb about her and Hannah's relationship, but you'll have to read it to find out. The more we find out about the sister relationship the more bizarre it seems and its a wonder Sybil has gotten away with so much without getting caught. I think this will be a series that if you read it again, you will see more with hindsight.
Hannah does still seem to want to work on her own, she is definitely not a big team player, but working on her own isn't really working out for her very well either. She does seem to want to test everyone's patience by putting herself and them in unnecessary danger.
It was good to see how the story finally played out and how Hannah and Simon managed to finally work things out.
This series has more of a HFN, and the although the main story is completed, there is room left for maybe more books involving these same characters. I would love to see more of them working on missions as a team.
"I didn’t know that I’d ever truly be able to accept that my sister was the person she was. But the truth was staring me in the face. Sybil was evil. A monster wrapped up in a pretty package. One that I knew I’d have to face again one day."
Hannah is back in the final book of this epic trilogy-- what a doozy indeed! Filled with all kinds of surprises along the way, as well as oodles of action. Oh and one feisty, determined, whip smart FMC in Hannah-- dead set on finding her sister (Sybil) and making her pay. Get ready for one amazing ride with strong female characters, and lots of excitement. I for one hope there's future adventures for Hannah, Si, Rue and Michael 😉...one can only hope. I absolutely fell in love with Hannah and her spirit. Such a fun read overall and filled with action, intrigue and everything you love from a great suspense read. I couldn't put it down. Here's hoping we see these characters again sometime. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up from this reader!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CATCH ME" WOW!!! This final story so full of action, danger, mystery, suspense, intrigue, secrets, lies, angst, steam, twists that keeps you turning the pages to the end. Hannah put the one man who could help her because he knew more about her evil sister Sybil than she did, but he's in a federal prison for espionage & treason because of her, she has a plan to free him & his team of Ghosts out of this situation. Sybil is closing in her evil presence is like nightmare for Hannah, she needs Simon to trust her once more after what she did to him, then he can disappear like the ghost he is taking her heart with him as well. I definitely recommend to get this excellent well written ending to this excellent trilogy will Simon help Hannah, will they admit to their feelings, will end up getting a HEA, its a must read you don't want miss with great characters that pull you right into all the chaos, you so won't be disappointed. PHENOMINAL MINDBLOWING SERIES 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Book 3 is here and I couldn’t wait to jump back into Hannah’s and Simons story. He used her, hurt her but also betrayed her, so she done the same thing to him. But the difference is it was to save him. What Simon had done to Hannah and the reason behind it was to get to her sister but she finds it completely justifiable and would of done the same thing if the tables were turned. Her sister needs to be stopped but the one person who can help her is currently in a federal prison because of her. Hannah has to find a way to get Simon free and convince him to trust her this one last time then him and his team can disappear again. This book is done in MPOVS which I always love getting an insight into what others are thinking and feeling. I absolutely loved this series from start to finish and wasn’t able to put any of the books down when i started it. This was no different the suspense and tension was amazing. Gutted for it to be over but the ended was another fantastic one
“Ms. Kelly, I wonder, does the FBI know what kind of talent they’re letting go to waste under their roof?” I blinked, unsure of if I’d heard him correctly. “I’m sorry. What did you say?” “Well,” He nodded his head down the hall at Simon’s retreating back. “I just witnessed one of the most formidable espionage agents in the business run out of your apartment scared shtless without a shot fired, an explosion, or a threat of nuclear war hanging in the balance.” He gave me half a grin. “If that’s not talent, I’m not sure what is.”
Cath Me is book 3 in Anne Roman’s Dangerous Entanglements series and it allows us all to get caught up in Hannah and Simon’s love life, as well as continuing the amazing plot involving Hannah’s evil sister.
Lot’s of action and espionage, as well as friendships, loyalty, and characters finally getting what they deserve!
Anne has done it again, this is the third and final book of the Dangerous Entanglements series and it was absolutely fantastic. Just as on the edge of your seat awesome as the previous one. Anne definitely did not disappoint. Full of danger, suspense, drama, rollercoaster ride of emotions, and twists and turns that keep you turning pages.
Hannah has to finally find a way to put an end to her sister and her evil. But the only way to do that is to turn to the one man who no longer trusts her. But she’s got to find away to get him and his team out before it’s too late. Even though trust has been broken the chemistry and connection between Hannah and Simon has not.
This is definitely a must read book, the conclusion to their story was truly riveting. You won’t be able to put this one down. Highly recommend it and this whole trilogy.
The third and final installment in the Dangerous Entanglements series, Catch Me by Anne Roman, was a fabulous conclusion to this series and the ultimate of cat and mouse, suspenseful drama romances out there!
This third book take us back to Hannah, who has finally learned how evil her sister truly is, and is now on the ultimate mission to catch Sybil and bring her to justice—all while trying to also free Simon from where she basically helped put him and ultimately save him and his crew.
I was so enthralled with this story and characters and all the secret revelations, suspenseful intrigue and tons of twist and turns their journey took us on. Needless to say it was one nonstop action filled adventure and I absolutely loved all these characters that Roman created and hope for more to come!
After the betrayal, relationships between Hannah and Simon & his crew are probably not the best, but it turns out Hannah actually had a plan. One that's an entangled spiderweb of lies, half-truths, and illusions, to get exactly what she wants, and that's Sybil and Simon. However, with the bounty on her head and one elite spy organization hunting her for services, she must remain cool and clever to outsmart the evil and win her prize. This amazing finale to the series brings a lot of action, suspense, drama, and adrenaline spikes to keep me up at night turning the pages one after another. I devoured the book in one go, thoroughly enjoying the twists and relationship development, mind games, and setting all puzzle pieces into place. It was a very fast read, and I am a bit regretful to see the story over already.
Dangerous Entanglements has been the book version of your favorite primetime CIA/FBI type dramas. It's had the confusing work relationships, backstabbing family dynamics, secret circles, arms dealers, psychopaths, and various overseas adventures that make the federal law enforcement genre so much fun. Hannah has been double crossed, and also left Simon and his team on the hook while enacted her own plans, and the conclusion to their whirlwind romance adventure has quite a few loose ends to tie up. You'll be happy to hear that if you enjoyed this romp as much as I did, the third book doesn't disappoint on action, but also gives us the closure needed after so much action. I'm assuming if you made it this far, you already like the series, and don't hesitate to finish it off with the flourish that is Catch Me.
Book 3 in Roman's Dangerous Entanglements. Definitely a series you need to read in series order! After reading books 1 and 2 I wasn't sure where Roman would take us readers on this captivating ride but I was not disappointed. Full of action, danger, thrills and more. The twists and turns will keep you glued to this story and the wonderful steamy chemistry is...just wow. I loved this conclusion to the series and while I loved the roller coaster we've been on, I'm sad that it's over too. I'm hopeful we'll meet these characters again in future reads, or spin off series maybe?!? Here's to hoping and a definite thank you to Roman for continuing to deliver such wonderful reads! Can't get enough!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.
Catch Me is the 3rd book of the trilogy and I'm so happy with having read it. Once again super fast paced, lots of action, spice mixed in with it, suspense. Literally took me less than a day to read it. So good. Hannah has proven her place on the team even though Simon wants her away from that sort of life. But he can't stop her and he knows it. But he'll stick close to her. My only slight complaint would be no epilogue 🤣🤣 I'm an epilogue kinda girl. Give me an update on the characters. Also wanted to know more about what happened with the case Hannah was working on when things went sideways, but still. Super good and so glad I read this story. Recommend it if you're looking for action, spice, fast paced read.
Great Conclusion!! This book picked up close from where book 2 left off, so make sure you read the previous one. From the start this grabbed my attention and had me on the edge of my seat at times. We finally get answers to some of our long awaited questions too! There was action, suspense, steam and much more! Hannah is a bad*ss! She is intelligent, determined and strong. Simon is of course swoon worthy and that accent of his 😉 When Hannah and Simon come together, they are fire!! 🔥 I loved seeing them get closer and both finally admit their feelings. I loved it!! I hope we get more from them some day or possibly from some of our side characters.
"The darkness tries to hide the light. Remember that Hannah. Darkness and death go hand in hand. And if you keep letting your light get smothered by Sybil, you're going to eventually end up the same way." With the way the last book ended I had no idea where this was going to go but I was not disappointed. Full of action and revelations this kept me in suspense and guessing right up until the end and fulfilled my expectations both romantically and plotwise. I would like to see more from these characters, maybe another story with Michael and Rue as the main characters? There is some definite tension there that could be explored! Love, love, loved this series and it is well worth a read
Reading this series was definitely like being on a roller coaster of ups and downs. With lots of fast paced, action packed storylines and brilliant cliffhanger endings. It keeps you on your toes from start to finish that's for sure.
After how book 2 ended this book picked up from there with all the betrayal on both sides getting in Hannah & Simon's way. Sybil is still trying her best to keep up with her plan to cause as much havoc as she can for both of them. Ive loved the dynamic between Hannah and Simon's and the other ghosts - Rue & Michael from the beginning of this series. This last book was a brilliant way to end it. An epic read.
Who is Catching Who? Hannah's life gets more and more complicated the deeper she digs into her sister's affairs. Simon and his team are sent on new assignments, but Rue remains a friend. A hit is put out on Hannah, and there is little to be done about it. Sybil seems to anticipate each and every move Hannah and her protectors make - but can Hannah start to anticipate what Sybil will do next? The game is on. The traps are being set - but for whom? The pace is fast and the love is deep. If you like mystery mixed with your romance, this is a must-read! I loved this debut series and I'll be keeping an eye out for what comes next from AR.
This storey is all consuming with lots of twists, Book 3 kicks off after Hannah betrayed the team which sends then into the federal prison system. But hey he betrayed her first but i am not sure which is the bigger betrayal. That said she needs him more than she knows and now has to find a way to break him out of Jail to stop her sister.
The more we read the more is revealed about Hannah's past the more we understand but the twists and turns in these books are truly amazing. This book is a read in one sitting, cant put down for anything as you are consumed with the need to find out if these guys get their HEA and save the world!
The amount of action and suspense in book 3 of the Dangerous Entanglements series was jaw dropping! Every moment was a wow moment, and everything was truly leading up to this moment, the conclusion. It's amazing how much Hannah was able to keep her spirits up with everything basically going wrong between her sister still in the wind and losing Simon's trust. Luckily, the heat between the two was still on full burn mode throughout the pages and when everything culminates, it was so good! All in all, this series was a fun, rollercoaster of a ride and I can truly say I loved every moment of it! I hope we get more from this world and these characters!
Hannah, an FBI agent, has taken a huge risk and is now hoping that Simon, a government ghost agent, does not hate her after the events in Find Me. As the story progresses evil taunts, feelings, haunt, and if they cannot reveal all of the secrets kept they may not get everything they want. Catch Me is an exhilarating conclusion to the Dangerous Entanglement series. There is still an open thread dangling at the end of the book, so I can only hope that there will be more coming from this author.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Fast paced thrilling conclusion to the trilogy. Full of suspense and intrigue with the team of Ghosts and drama and feels between Hannah and Si. Their chemistry is smoking hot. We get a HFN ending that leaves room for more adventures with these characters. I’d love to see more of them going on missions and such. Even the evil villainess of the story is intriguing and all the secondary characters are well developed as well. This has been a wonderful series and I look forward to reading more by this author.
This was a good ending to this series. The author is getting better as things go along. I'm interested to see what comes next for her.
Hannah is determined to catch Sybil and José. She wants to stop Sybil, but is also dealing with a little bit of guilt. Hannah did run off in a rather rookie mistake, but it worked out. She doesn't think clearly when it comes to Sybil. Which to be fair, is completely normal. We had several bomb drops in this one. I was utterly shocked by a few of them.
The ending was great. I can't wait to see what this author does next.
Hannah is not taking anything from anyone this time around! We are all back together trying to hunt down Sybil and her crew. Hannah and Simon are always in hot water and they find a way to only make it hotter!❤️🔥 I definitely needed more of Simon and Hannah together. Plus, Rue and Michael are both amazing bonus characters and I really hope we hear from this group again. I feel like even Simon and Hannah have a lot more to tell. This was an amazing starter series for this author and I can't wait to see what comes next. 😍
The mysteries abound and the spice heats up as Hannah, Simon and his team continue to fight against Sybil and her mercs. Once again full of plot twists and the tension between Hannah and Simon is off the charts, they both so desperately want the other. I love that Hannah finally gets to have a real friend in both Rue and Michael, and I wonder what will happen with them in the future? I loved how Hannah and Simon were both able to get their jobs done, while trying to deny the passion and to not hurt the other person. A great conclusion to this series.
This is the final installment in the Dangerous Entanglements series. We get to jump right into it from the end of the second book. The story has some major twists and is action packed. We get some resolution to the story, but there are still some loose threads. I’m hoping there’s more in store for these group of people who happen to be spies. Will the misunderstanding between Hannah and Simon be cleared up? You’ll find out when you read this exciting book. I highly enjoyed it.
Mystery, intrigue, plot twists and some open ends leads to a conclusion that begs for another adventure for the team to go on. Sybil, Simon, Rue, and Hannah are playing cat and mouse to try to take out the other side. Hannah is remembering and learning that things are not all black and white with answers coming with twice as many follow up questions. I'm curious to see if Enigma has more in store for the team.
This was a seriously satisfying ending! I’ve enjoyed this series so much. Hannah is such a cool character, and I truly enjoyed the twisted nature of Sybil. There were a couple of unexpected developments in this book, which kept it so entertaining. Glad that some events turned out the way I was hoping it would, too. *cough Simon cough* So happy to have met Rue again. That girl deserves her own book!!
Catch me was an amazing end to an addictive series. This book had more action and a bit of spice in it and I couldn't stop reading once I started. There were times when I actually gasped out loud and multiple times I was surprised by what happened. How would you feel if you found out you were adopted and actually the same age as your sister in fact you guys were twins. If your looking for a good series to read look no further. I'm sad it's ending but glad I read it.
What a great conclusion to a series. Hannah is back but can she save Simon from jail? Or worse. Will Sybil ever leave Hannah alone? Can the team forgive Hannah after her exit? So many questions left from book 2 that need answering. The conclusion doesn’t disappoint it starts with an interesting twist and a blank business card or is it? Who is this new group and what do they want? Shame it had to end would like to see more of the Hannah’s exploits in this world.
