About the author
Reuben A. Torrey
541 books86 followersReuben Archer Torrey studied at Yale and in Germany before taking up a pastorate in the United States. As a gifted intellectual, administrator, and Bible teacher, he went on to pastor Moody Church in Chicago and became D.L. Moody's closest associate. In his later years, he traveled the world as an evangelist speaking to millions in Australia, New Zealand, India, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Japan, China, Hawaii, Germany, the United States, and Canada. Torrey edited the last two volumes of the monumental "The Fundamentals" and was instrumental in the founding of both Moody Bible Institute and BIOLA University.

The Bible Answer Book covers questions about the Bible along with practical advice for living an abundant Christian life. The book is broken into segments covering about 70 questions listed from A-Z: the after life, antichrist, Christian life, Deity of Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, faith, God, evil, foot-washing, forgiveness, Heaven, Jews, miracles, marriage, sin, the second coming of Jesus Christ, Salvation, and more. Each segment asks a question which is then answered along with Scripture verses to support his answers. An interesting read for those looking for answers to their biblical questions.
