I have never been to Austria (or China or Brazil or France or Argentina…), but now I feel like I have. This blog-cum-book-cum-travel guide reads like a good friend’s adventures around the globe, and that’s exactly what it is! Marianne Mercer is not only a skilled writer and astute observer of all things international, but she also is a wide-eyed purveyor of the fascinating history, trivia, and quirks of any place she lands. This is a great book about a lot of great people, places, and things that will make you want to roll up inside MM’s suitcase and tag along the very next time she goes wheels-up on a new adventure. Brava!!! 🇦🇹
