The authoritative guide to practical spellcraft with The Spells Bible
This can't-miss title shows you exactly how to improve your life with natural magic. Whether the problem is related to love, work, home or family, there's something here to cure what ails. This practical, step-by-step book includes clear instructions for casting more than 150 spells. Learn about the impressive history of withcraft and its relevance to everyday modern life. The Spells Bible is perfect for anyone who wants to move through life in a more positive direction.
150 spells that cover a variety of applications: love, career, family and home, health and beauty, good fortune, divination, protection and blessing, and banishing and binding. Each spell calls for only a few simple ingredients and tools, most of which are easily obtained (some are a bit more obscure or less practical to get). I like that the author includes the appropriate Moon phase and day of the week for each, and, even if I don't actually perform them, the spells offer lots of ideas for making charms, amulets, talismans and other magickal items. This book also includes an introductory section on the seasons and festivals, setting up altars and sacred spaces, and how to cast a circle. I knocked off one star because the tiny colour photographs are a bit dark and murky and sometimes don't quite match the "receipts" for the spells they're illustrating - a minor issue! Nevertheless, I'm grateful to my dear friend who gave me this book, and I read it from cover to cover with great interest.
excellent little quick reciept book for spell craft. simple easy and great for beginners and experts alike. I love cook books and this is something like that but for magick.
Love! This book is wonderful! It is such a great reference. Even you don't practice Wicca, it is very interesting to go through. The illustrations are lovely. It is very well organized and just fun to read!
As a resource for spell-casters, this book has it all. The author again does a wonderful job of compartmentalizing, cataloging spells by function or area of life.
My bullshit detector is going off like crazy. There is way too much in this book that panders to the civilized world: spells to gain more money, tools like paper, paint, and mirrors, and a whole section on how to be more successful at work. I'm not going to pretend to be any sort of expert in Wicca, but most of this book seems phony.
I was doing some research for my current YA project, and I was enchanted to come across this "Spells Bible," which covers everything you need to know about connecting with the energy of the natural world in order to, well, cast those spells. Good fun. Detailed. Thorough.
