This one is good for the curious and new believers. It is essentially a summary of the entire Old Testament, presented in simple, matter-of-fact language. I did not detect any attempts at trying to bend toward a specific culture of belief (e.g., fundamentalism, etc.). Each chapter is followed by questions for further study and contemplation. Read widely!
