The present book which based on some aspects of small area estimation using auxiliary information is concerned with the Small Area Estimation Problem, with direct and indirect estimators including the generalized synthetic and composite estimators for small area estimation Approach.It is rather difficult to assess the performance of these estimators theoretically therefore it also contain a case base simulation study of crop acreage estimation for Inspector Land Revenue Circles (ILRCs) in jodhpur district of Rajasthan state, india,to compare the performance of various direct and indirect estimators.The book consists of the following five Chapters,each opening with the introduction and summary of the work carried out in the Chapters.Chapter 1.Small Area Comprehensive Review;Chapter 2.Synthetic and Composite Estimators for SAE under Lahiri-Midzuno Sampling Scheme; Chapter3.Generalized Class of Synthetic Estimators for SAE under Systematic Sampling Scheme;Chapter 4.Generalized Class of Composite Estimators for SAE under Systematic Sampling Scheme; Chapter 5.Evaluation of Synthetic and Composite Estimators for Crop Acreage Estimation in SAE.
