This book uncovers the wealth of philosophical problems that history presents, and encourages further thought on how these issues grow out of historical questions.
I read this for a class, and found it quite boring and rather pointless. However, in comparison to the other book I had to read for this class, this one was amazing. It will bore you to tears. But at least Stanford is kind enough to add examples and explanations to his writing, so you can stand a chance of understanding some of it if you can manage to focus on what you're reading...
