In the dusk of a midsummer day her new car was found abandoned near the recently burned-out house. There were no signs of a struggle. To the police she became just another Missing Person. Robert V. Cox and Kenneth L. Peiffer, Jr. tell the true story of what happened to Deborah Sue Kline, missing person, a case with-out clues, and its final solution by an unlikely detective.
That's sad. two guys was prison before they still are mental illness and they rape and kill. Debbie Kline is missing person and murder, rape. Finally, they arrested them. Richard is in prison to death and Ronald is in prison to life sentence.
Used this book for information for my podcast. I live in the area, and am familiar with many locations from this book and the story of Debbie Kline’s disappearance and murder. However, I was unaware of so many of the details! Cox and Peiffer did a wonderful job writing about Debbie’s tragic story, and bringing awareness to her case.
Debbie was a beautiful girl, and sounded like she was a wonderful person. May she rest in peace.
A true story of a murder in Waynesboro, PA. The body was eventually found at the top of the Tuscarora Mountain a couple miles from my hometown of Fannettsburg, PA.
True crime story based upon the 1976 kidnapping and murder of Debbie Kline. Written by reporter Robert V. Cox and photojournalist Kenneth L. Peiffer, Jr., this story takes place in Waynesboro, PA, Franklin County, which borders my home county of Huntingdon, PA. Missing Person was a quick, easy read, and interested me primarily because of my familiarity with the landmarks described, as well as the writers' interactions with psychic detective Dorothy Allison.
