A half-decent look in to the world of teaching and studying Creative Writing, but in terms of comparison there are other books out that that provide you with this and an awful lot more.

anyone else find this book to be super negative? insightful look into starting to study creative writing but the ending chapter full of failed writers was so depressing. also the section about "jane who self harms, we must remove our friend jane from the character she is writing" was so inappropriate. find jane help, youre a teacher?
not vibing with it but somewhat helpful i guess
