So I don’t think I was the right audience for this book, even though I went into it with an open mind and real curiosity.
The book feels a bit like a manual. Not academic in a scientific way, but structured and dense, which made it harder for me to fully connect with it emotionally. At times, I felt like I was reading something I understood in theory, but not always in a way I could fully absorb or apply.
That said, there are still a lot of interesting ideas in it. Even if some concepts didn’t fully land for me at my current stage, the values and perspectives shared throughout the book gave me things to think about and reflect on.
Probably a book that will resonate more deeply with some than with others, but still a meaningful read in its own way.
