This book has a detailed focus on using energy in magic. Specific and detailed, this is not a vague overview and is suitable for anyone wanting to delve seriously into magic.
The writing style is smooth and the concepts are presented in a way that is easy to grasp.
One contradiction I noticed is that the author mentions several times that you shouldn't use magic on anyone without their consent, but then in other places explains how to use it to influence people. That bothered me a bit. Perhaps it's better to say use it judiciously, and without malice.

This book was very interesting, there were many things in it that I find important. How to do a spell without having to use ritual is a very useful tool. I will defenately be learning more soon.

I loved the book. It teaches the importance of energy work in magic and gives many exercises to develop your skill with using various energy work techniques.

I think it is incredibly useful, especially for new witches who may not understand why their spells aren’t working or why they get so tired from doing spell work.

This book helps you to establish a good foundation to build upon. Spell work does not have to be complicated or require obscure, hard-to-find ingredients. With this book, you can learn how to combine energy work with simple rituals to create changes in your life.

Really enjoyed this book. It had a lot of great meditation, and grounding techniques. Like the simplicity of her writings. I believe magick is energies we can reach out to, and use to help manifest what we want to change in our lives.

Having just read the Bag of Tricks, this book paled in comparison for me, and I found the discussions simpler, perhaps a smidge fluffier, even. Still, good book! Will re-read in the future for sure!

I loved the format of this book. Very interesting and useful for my study of spiritual practices. I hadn't read anything on Thought Constructs, so I particularly enjoyed that bit.
