I think this one’s cute, and the fact the adults in it are dumb pleased me. So the Deerfield Academy of Dance might be shutting down, because the building is going up for sale, and the ballet company doesn’t have the money to buy it.

So the girls decide they’re going to try and save it! With winning the $1000 prize for an Easter egg hunt in the local park. They’re one short for the team, but that’s okay, Mary Bubnik’s friend from Oklahoma is coming into town, and that’ll round them out!

Only Mary’s friend is like one of the mean girls in their class, the Bunheads, Zan’s plan to save D.A.D (Deerfield Academy of Dance) gets them on the news, and McGee’s too stressed out about baseball for them to do well at the hunt.

I love how they’re wailing about saving DAD and they get on the news, and everyone’s like “You couldn’t have fact checked this?” and it turns out to be the biggest hit of their news week. I guess it was a slow news week, or month, in Deerfield, Ohio. I also love Rocky pulling one over on her Dad with the dress for Easter, so it was a double win.
