I am reading a book called "Usain Bolt 9.58" its all about him being the fastest man in the world. He ran a 9.58 100 meter dash. Thats insane. his top speed was 27.3 mph. In the Olympics he won 3 gold medals, thats a big accomplishment. The book talks a lot about how he grew up. He grew up in a hard place and he didn't have a lot when he was a kid an its talks a lot about what he was like an whats it like now. He made a lot happen in life by all of this and his family is very proud, in the book a lot of his family an friends talk and there so proud of him and they should be for whats hes done. This book was very interesting an i loved reading about his life an now i really understand how we grew up and what hes gone through and im really proud of that. He has to train very hard to do what he has done. I hope they make more books about Usain because i would read them an i hope he can beat his 9.58 and possibly get better than that and that would be crazy if he could do that and i hope one day he will attempt it because i no he can do it.

I really liked this book. The book had really good and thorough detail about Bolt's life. This book was really well written and was very interesting. The book even had pictures which further emphasized the story Bolt was saying or just certain facts so you can get a visual of what he was talking about not just the words. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone interested in either Usain Bolt, track and field, or just want a good autobiography.

This book is about Usain Bolt and how he grew up getting to be famous and where he is now, it talks about from the first time he could remember running and all the way to when the book was written. This book shows Bolt's struggles and his successful times, the times where he felt really good at where he was at, and the bad ones. This book was really just about how he got to be the fastest man on the Earth.

This book is calling out all the sprinters and fans of Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world. This book tells the story of how he became what he is today. If you like Track and Field then I suggest you read this book. I think kids and teens that are interested in sprinting should read this. It's a very uplifting story and the details of how much time and effort he put into training are really captured. Even if you don't like running, this book is still a fun book to read as it shows the journey of Usain Bolt, becoming the fastest man in the world.

This book is about the world famous track runner Usain Bolt and his back story from before he started running track all the way up to when he broke the world record multiple times and how he felt when he broke it the final time. It starts off with him in Jamaica and how he actually started off wanting to play rugby and futbol and that he didn’t even want to run track. He started running because he had a bet where he had to bet somebody in a race for a lunch and he likes food, so he won. After that he describes the rest as history pretty much. He went to college but never really went to track practice because he didn’t think he was a track athlete. The college told his parents and after that he never missed another practice again and took track more seriously. After college he was constantly pushing himself because he thought he could always get faster. He talks about his intense workouts and how he would always just think about getting faster. His constant work and his work ethic made him as good as he is today.
People who enjoy sports especially those who enjoy track and field. Usain Bolt is arguable a household name especially since he has broken two world records in two of the most competitive track events in the world. You could also say he’s the fastest man/sprinter in history with all of his accomplishments. Track and field fans would enjoy this book because it’s like the story you never knew about Usain Bolt. They would learn about his backstory and all the ups and downs of his career. He isn’t always the fastest man in the world he is also just a regular guy from Jamaica.
I was satisfied with this book because I myself am a Usain Bolt fun. He is my favorite sprinter of all time. What I enjoyed the most was his backstory about how he started running track and how he actually didn’t even consider track his favorite or his best sport. He just ran it because everybody told him he was fast and he had won that bet that involved them beating the fastest kid in his area in a race for some lunch. I found that humorous and sort of ironic. Also in the book you don’t really see him as a star or world’s fastest man. You see him as Usain Bolt another person in the world.

"Usain Bolt: My Story: 9.58: Being the world's fastest Man" is a great novel going over the journey and development of a 3 time world record holder, two of which being individual races. As it is an autobiography we get to see what Usain was actually feeling in key moments of his career. To my surprise he is a down to earth guy who acts as a positive role model anyone could follow.

Throughout the novel we go from his development of winning the world junior title to setting world records in the 100 and 200 in Berlin. Usain also goes over the normal side of him. Some of my favorite chapters are when he goes over his, life before fame, how he used to go to party's and sneak away from his Dad to play cricket.

I recommend this book to all ages, Usain is an idol who carries himself in a humble way. It is great to see an insight to the confusing world of track and field. One thing I dislike about this book is how many photos of himself he has. One page is details about his achievements and then the next is a photo of him sleeping in a hammock. This is well rounded book with aspects almost everyone will like.

Usain is one of those athletes you never forget watching on TV during the Olympics. I was enthused to read his story. I thought his biography was enjoyable, but mediocrely written. It's not a well polished book by any means in terms of writing quality, but I get the sense that's not what he was after. He wanted the reader to get a good sense of what he's like and and how in some ways he has been misunderstood by the media. One can appreciate how he has always lived true to himself, even if that meant not getting even more amazing results than he could have. It's crazy to imagine how much more amazing his world records could have been had he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to proper nutrition and regular training. But the fact that he could break records while partying, having substandard sleep and nutrition testifies to his amazing athletic ability. What a guy.

I decided to read this book because I found it in the library and I like Usain Bolt and running. I hadn't heard of this book before and found it interesting. I like that it had quite a few pictures and told of his life and how he entered the world of atheletics. This book fills the "Autobiography box" on the table.

As I read this book I learnt a lot about Usain Bolt and his methods. Most professional atheletes follow strict training plans and have a not very exciting diet, Usain Bolt though is a bit lazy with his training and diet. A qoute I liked from the book was " I headed to McDonald's for my regular bowl of chicken nuggets. Honestly, I ate nothing else in all my time out in China except chicken nuggets". I liked this quote because it made me laugh. I never been into dieting but I am big on sport and you are supposed to watch what you eat but, this goes to show you what the professionals say isn't always true.

The book talked about Usain's childhood and how he was never that into running he liked to play soccer and cricket more but, he was always the fastest out in the playground. As he grew up he started to take running more seriously but still managed to mantain good grades. When he found out that Atheletics could be his career he started to take it a lot more seriously and started going to the gym and doing more intense trainig sessions.

Usain Bolt is a good role model because he uses his winnings not on himself but instead to help out his old schools, his commuinity and the whole of Jamaica. Being famous is a big responsibility but Usain still manages to help out everywhere he can as well as staying grounded and spending time with his old friends and most importantly his family.

I recommend this book because it is informational and interesting and gives you an insight on what being Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world is like.

This Biography is about Usain Bolt a Jamaican sprinter who has gained fame through his notable 100 and 200 meter sprint which he currently holds the world record in. This book teaches you more about who Usain Bolt really is off the track. We learn about his daily life and his experiences throughout his life living in Trelawny, Jamaica. This book walks you through his stage of going through childhood to adulthood and what it took to make it. Usain Bolt shows you his family and what an influential role everyone has played.

I don't connect with everything Usain Bolt says but I feel as if we are similar after how he describes himself in the book. We are both laid-back people and enjoy having fun but are also quite bright. I connect with one of his quotes “ Once I beat you, you won't beat me again”. I connect with this because I think I am very competitive and although I may not think that exact way I don't enjoy losing and my approach towards competition is similar to his.

I think most fans of Usain Bolt would enjoy this book and I recommend it to people who like biographies and athletics. I think this because Usain Bolt is an iconic figure in terms of athletic sprinting and is the fastest man that has ever lived. Usain Bolt has a unique character and is very different to other sprinters which is another reason I think people would enjoy this book because you learn a lot more about who he really is.

Review: Usain Bolt: 9.58 My Story
Usain Bolt has met another milestone in his career after writing this well put together novel. You can’t help to be in awe of Bolt’s stature and aurora, Bolt has again and again moved people. He has succeeded again with this book. Usain Bolt: 9.58 is written before the Rio Olympics so it doesn’t have all of his highlights, but Bolt’s unique charisma helps the story.
Bolt’s journey begins as a young, energetic Jamaican boy who’s small community kept him mostly on a straight path with some naive guidance. Bolt went on to be the greatest runner and one of the best athletes in the world. But that didn’t come with setbacks. Along the road Bolt became a very active important figure in Jamaica.
Any reader or person in general that wants to read about a man that truly shows through his art how influential you can be should read Usain Bolt: 9.58. Bolt enhances the book with excerpts of important people in his life to make you fully understand the Usain Bolt. Usain Bolt: 9.58 isn’t a challenging book but since it’s a biography it can take some time but its truly worth it. This book truly shows you what can hard work and guidance can truly do for the ones that want to learn.

I read Usain Bolt by Usain Bolt. I really liked the book because it was written about a very interesting man. Even though I don't topically like autobiography books all that much, I did enjoy reading this one. I liked to read this book because he has an interesting life, he has won many gold medals for running, and he has set a few world records.

Usain Bolt is about Usain and how he grew up to be an Olympic gold medalist. He has set many world records on his way to the top. It is also about where he grew up and that he likes to go there to relax and be able to go outside and not be crowded by poperatzi or people screaming to get his autograph. In his home town everyone is used to seeing him so they just say hi and keep walking. He has also broken many of his own world records and achieved his goals many times.

I would recommend this book to people who like to learn about famous people, or who like autobiographies. I would also recommend this book to some of my friends because I know they would like to read about famous people. If you like to read auotbiographies even a little I would recommend this book to you.

the book that I chose to read for my good reads was Usain Bolt: My Story: Being the World's Fastest Man. The book was about how Usain Bolt Became the worlds fastest man. Throughout the book, he talked about the steps that he took and the choices he had to make to actually become the worlds fastest man. At the beginning of the book he didn't seem to be too interested in running, it sounded like he would rather hang out with his friends. When he won the medal in Japan that's when he started to take a greater interest in running. then his interest pretty much progressed from there.

I would recommend the book to anyone who likes to hear how someone about how people become who they are, like all of the steps that they take and the decisions that they make. I would also recommend it to anyone who is trying to get further in any sport. I liked how the book explained every step that he took to become who he is. I also like how the book shows pictures, It was also cool that he actually wrote the book. Overall the book was very good.

I thought this book was a very good book. It covered most of his life, from how he was growing up running and being the fastest man in his school, and how he was once slower than this buddy but once he was faster, he never again let his buddy catch him in races, to being the fastest man to ever live, and winning gold medals left and right. It also went over his parents and how he was brought up by not only his parents, but his teachers' neighbors, and everyone else in his town because they knew his name and that he was meant for sprinting. I recommend this book to people who enjoy track and for inspiration, because Usain bolt didn’t come from a family with great money he worked his way to the top and to be the best/fastest human to ever live. People who would like this book are people who need inspiration and motivation to get up and do something with their life. I liked that this book was written by Bolt and that he talked about his life as well as his successes in track. I didn’t like anything about the book it was a good book to read and is good to read as a track runner.

I thought this book was ok. It was all about Usain Bolts life. It was well written and the illustrations where very good. I thought there could have been a lot more in formation surrounding his life. I feel as though it should have been more based on his life because they should tell more about him. This book was all about Mr. Bolts life it shared his child hood memories his school and all the other things that lead up to him being the fastest man in the world. The novel shared about his family and how they impacted his life. This book reminds me of the time of when my family influenced me to play basketball. The Bolt family kept telling him to keep trying to run. My family keeps telling me to play basketball. This book was very good and I like it a lot. I read this in 3rd quarter.

A great insight into the sprinting phenomenon that is Usain Bolt. So glad he watched a documentary when he was younger on 'what to do when you are drowning' or else we would not have had the pleasure of seeing his unbelievable feats of speed today. The book takes you through the trials and tribulations of Usain's personal life whilst juggling the athletics training regime and injuries that haunt him to this day. The pressure of expectation from his home country and how he bit the bullet to eventually prove to himself(via a quality coach) that he could lose in order to know how to win was truly a great revelation and set the stage for how he now 'Looks Forward and Believes'.

A brilliant reference book for any sprinter, athlete or running hobbyist.

O scriitura puerila.
Sau poate ca as compara, mai degraba, modul in care este scrisa cartea cu povestile unui bunic in fata nepotului, atunci cand se afla in fata unui teanc de poze. Vorbeste despre poze, apoi sare dintr-o poveste in alta, dintr-o amintire in alta, pana ai ametit. Entuziasmul povestitorului. Entuziasmul omului egocentric. Asa as zice.
Ca si nepot, m-am simtit intr-un mediu familiar cat am citit cartea. Parca stateam de vorba cu un prieten bun ce-mi povesteste prostii, dar nu conteaza. Entuziasmul lui ma copleseste.
Totusi, foarte puerila expunere. Autobiografiile ar trebui sa fie inspirationale, nu? Ei, asta nu e deloc.

I was really disappointed.....very basic background information and personal details and lots of repetition regarding the athletics events! Bolt comes across as a likeable guy but not as a good role model. He freely admits he often misses training because it's hard and goes clubbing far too much!

Of course, quite a light read, but personal, human and inspiring. Makes me want to go for a run and see how fast I can go! ;)
He seems like a good guy with a good attitude.
