Cenora O'Neill was kidnapped and Dallas McClintock came to her rescue, but he was injured in the process. As a result, they were forced to get married. Despite their initial doubts and differences, they eventually learned to overcome them as their two worlds collided. With patience and a willingness to accept the changes in their lives, the half Cherokee Dallas and Traveler Cenora become remarkable examples of what truly good people do for their families and love. The story was full of drama, I enjoyed reading how two people can be brought together and bring about positive change in their lives. I would love to read more books in this series to see where some of the other characters, especially Cenora's brothers, end up. This is the first book I've read by this author, and I was impressed with how well she wrote the hero and the heroine. Despite all the obstacles placed in their way, I found myself wishing for them to find true love and happiness. The book also had a great cast of secondary characters, and I enjoyed reading about all of Cenora's superstitions.
