Ok Ok Ok. after reading this book beside Freud's famous book "The interpretation of dreams", now I am wondering mush more than before. why are so many people still ignoring such huge writers out there? Those who wrote about dream phenomena, and only still solely standing on Freud's theories all over the years past by? Or shall I say his one famous theory? Conscious and Unconscious Mind! whatever.
Ignoring such a book, to those who are interesting in dream phenomena, or studying dreams and their meaning, seems like they are ignoring a glass of water in front of them while they are thirsty.

The funniest thing is that Freud himself quoted from the book so many time to finishing writing his book which became famous later then. In Addition, I do not think that only Freud saw something fabulous in the book. Instead, obviously, everyone can see those fabulous things by merely reading the book. So, Friends, I hope you all start today reading this one among all the books that are handling oneirology field, and enjoy reading it.

This is actually one of the most influential books I have ever read. I had my first lucid dream before I made it half-way through reading it, following the authors methods.

I am a lucid dreamer today and I have this book to thank.

More than what the title promises, it's a book of personal experiences with sleep, and examples in journal mode

The man turned his lucid dreams into a phenomenological psychology experiment and the work of some of modern neuroscience and psychology pales in comparison to his insights (how do we bring phenomenology back to science!?).
