I think this series is trying too hard to outdo its previous ones and losing something in the process. It's good on its own, but still struggling for me. I like that the strategy guide remains in story form, but found the little "added" side note bits (crinkly DRC pages) intrusive to the point I finally just ignored them. They are like watching a movie with an annoying running commentary jibbering in your ear constantly.
