Ariana Padron flies down from Boston to Miami for her great aunt's funeral, and in the little coffee shop adjoining the funeral home she meets the magnetically attractive Gerald Loren. Even though she just broke up with her last boyfriend, she can't possibly resist when Gerald asks her to join him that night for a tour of Coral Gable's art galleries.

Gerald is a talented up-and-coming sculptor and his penetrating stare and skilled hands bring out Ariana's wildly passionate nature like never before. But there is a second love vying for her attention... her passionate love of great food, and each chapter contains some of her favorite easily prepared and health-conscious recipes. Gerald is seduced by her passionate creativity, in every sense, as Ariana delights in playing with new seasonings and sensations, sinfully indulging herself in the heady spice of a wonderful man's love.

Ariana knows the time is finally right to enjoy the feast of true love every day and every night for the rest of her life that only one special man can share with her...

Thirteen years ago (yeah, I'm getting older) I bought this romance/erotica novel with amazing recipes from New Jersey from Calabasas, Barnes & Noble and it had this amazing two stories bookshop that my aunt took me to late at night, It was in July/August.

My review has disappeared like most of my reviews from Shelfari, I remember being scandalized by the book but charmed with the hot scences, recipes and Latino community.

I remember that the story revolved around a 20 something girl who returns home to a funeral (I don't remember who's) her mom keeps on cooking, black dresses are worn, the girl has sex with a mechanic, police officer and an artist who makes wild statues and can cook as well. That's all I remember.
