Today's foray into the world of romance and the Bull Rider is A Family for the Bull Rider.

Jack Morgan is one bitter man. Sure he probably has a reason for it but dealing with dear old day is just not a joyful thing. Years of estrangement only to discover that Dad needs a donor and Jack is the only one who matches.. So Jack is gonna bite the bullet and do the deed.. Only Dad, doesn't want Jack's Kidney. He wants to make sure Jack keeps both of his. He is a Bull Rider after all. It's hard on Jack to deal with a man who has made his life harder than it had to be. But he's there and he plans to continue to be there, that is until he can escape.

Cricket Jasper, family good girl, a deacon for the church no less has it bad for Bad Boy Jack Morgan. He's just the type of man that can drive a good girl wild.. and wild she goes. One slip up and Cricket is suddenly pregnant, with triplets, no less. OOOOPS.. Cricket wants Jack but not on these terms, she wants the man he could be but Jack, well he has other plans.

Ok.. this one bothered me. I know Deacons are human as are all Christians and we all make mistakes but Ms. Leonard sort of made Cricket into a good girl because really there wasn't any other choice. Then the man she wants comes along and she jumps right into bed with him? That is NOT how a woman of faith acts. Again, yes we are human and yes we make stupid mistakes but I didn't like the way Cricket was portrayed at all. Out of all the Bull Riding books I have read this week, this one was the worst.

Dear old Dad.. yeah another managing pain in the rear.. I don't like those controlling jerks that we are supposed to like.. when there is nothing to like about them. This man basically emotionally abused his son, his entire life. The only redeeming thing I could find about him was that he refused Jack's kidney and the reason I liked that is because he worried about Jack. It was more than pride it was actually caring about someone..

Jack and Cricket? Yeah no connection for me. She hopped into bed with a roamer and then when he was willing to work for their relationship, she shut him out. So basically, the father was a jerk, the heroine was not likable and Jack? Well he was pretty ok.. *grins*

Not one I would really recommend.

Romance series revolving around an old man, with regrets, trying to bring his family back home and together through any mean possible, including financial bribery. An enjoyable series.

In The Triplets' Rodeo Man, Tina Leonard ropes us into a heartwarming whirlwind where a rugged rodeo cowboy is suddenly saddled with triple the responsibility—and maybe the love of his life. The chemistry sizzles, the chaos is real, and the emotional payoff is pure Leonard magic.

A delightful blend of cowboy grit, baby giggles, and small-town romance that’ll make you smile from start to finish.

This is for a brand new line PBR that will be sold just at Walmart. It is a reissue, With a real rodeo cowboy on the cover.

While this book does stand okay on it's own it makes me want to read the four stories before it about the Morgan sons. Especially was confusing was the three ghosts.

Plenty of family drama, some romance, some rodeo and lots of babies. It is a clean read, love scenes behind doors.

Jack Morgan is a bull rider who has been away from his home for years after a fight with his father about his rodeo riding. Now Jack has come back because his father needs a kidney and he is a match.
He is willing to give his kidney to his father but still plans to ride bulls.

Cricket Jasper is a deacon in her church. She has a crush on Jack. She has only met him a time or two. She is friends with three of his sister-in-laws. She goes to visit his father in the hospital and has been asked to get drapes for the ranch house done. Now she is pregnant with triplets after a one night stand.
Josiah Morgan needs a new kidney. He is afraid if he accepts Jack's kidney than what happens if he gets injured riding a bull. He has offered each of his sons a million dollars if they move back to the ranch for a year. He has also been matchmaking for them all with a wife who had kids. Now he has more strings for Jack.
I wish this was a longer book, had more about the rodeo in it. More about Cricket's pregnancy. I liked how Jack was willing to jump in and be a father. I really liked how the love making was behind doors.
I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and Harlequin and in return I agreed to give honest review of A Family for the Bull Rider.

This was an okay read,i think i went into this book with loads of expectations and ended up disappointed,it had some fun banters but did not feel any connection/chemistry/love between Jack-Cricket till the end. They made adjustments but i felt it was only for the baby sake did not feel any love blossoming as the story progressed.Cricket kept her thoughts and feelings to herself sticking to her independence. There was too many things going around Jack-Cricket babies and trying to figure how to get Cricket agree to get married,Jack-his estranged mother Gisella how they are coming to terms with past and trying to forgive and then there's Jack's father plotting and getting married to Sara along with his Kidney failure.Loads of jumble out there.

Okay read

Family of a Bull Rider is an emotional story. Jack has been estranged from his jerk of a father for years when he is summoned home. His father's health is failing. Jack now has to figure out if he should help his father or leave the stress behind. Helping him along the way is Cricket, a local deacon who has always had feelings for Jack. But when an unexpected pregnancy happens will Jack be able to leave behind the rodeo life and be a better father than his own ever was? A heartbreaking story to read at times and a frustrating one because of the stubborn personalities of the main characters. Still I would recommend to anyone who enjoys reading Tina Leonard. Received this book for an honest review.

A Family For The Bull Rider was a good book. Of course reading about bull riders or rodeo itself will be a good book. They are well fit guys. Jack Morgan returns home to give his father his kidney. He hasn't talked to his father or two brothers for years. Jack wants nothing to do with his family. He runs into Deacon Cricker Jasper. Cricker has always liked Jack. They end up sleeping together one night. Cricker ends up pregnant with triples. Jack wants to marry Cricker but Cricker is afraid he will leave and follow the rodeo circuit for bull riding. They do end up getting together after a lot going on in the family. A must read.

Now I did like this book and found it enjoyable but there was something off. I guess I was hoping for more. I loved that there was the dual point of view getting a picture in understanding the characters choices. I loved that this book was clean there was no need for steamy sections because this book was good without it. My thing about this book was that I was hoping for a bit more. I feel like I've read a book this this many times before, I mean there were minor differences but not that much. Overall I did enjoy this book and recommend you lovely readers to check out this book.

cricket annoyed me with not giving jack a good reason why she would not marry jack also not applying her own relationship advice she had given others while a deacon. jack was a likeable character u wanted to succeed with a different version of cricket that was seen in the previous books in the series
