Get ready for some amazing soccer action in Winning Season 4! It’s summer in Hudson City. And for Calvin Tait and Zero Rollison, it’s time to give soccer a shot. The YMCA soccer league looks like an easy way to get their feet wet and learn some technique, and once Calvin gets his foot on a ball and the taste of a winning game, he’s totally hooked. Soon Calvin is leading his team to the finals, where they’ll be up against the toughest players in the league—twin sisters with Mia Hamm–inspired shots on goal. Calvin knows he’s good, but are the twins better?

I think the ending was a pretty good ending because it was kind of a shocker to me because usually the underdogs always come out on top. If I would rewrite the ending I would make it that the underdogs would win and not the advantaged team.

Calvin was always talking about people on how good or how bad they were in soccer. He always was talking about the two twins Amber and Ashley. He liked them and he always said they were great in soccer to be a suck up to the girls.

When they went to the carnival with the twins one of them was really bossy. One of them asked for half sprite half Orange Drink and this much ice, and the other one asked for a coke. I thought that was interesting.

Four words that would describe this book are exciting, tense, funny, and weird.

This book is about two kids who play soccer and never played. They met these girls on anther team and they go to a carnival together. The two boys were in the championship against the two girls but the two boys lost to their friends.I would recommend this book to people who like sports or just want to know about two boys first time playing soccer.

In the book Double Fake, the main characters are Zero and Calvin and they are in a soccer league. The boys have never played soccer before and they are willing to try something new. The boys are in Y league, the league is made up of eight teams and there are two divisions the Eastern Division and the Western Division. My favorite character of the story was Calvin because we have so much in common. The two boys go on little adventures like to the little diners to get bottles of soda to drink after one of there games.
Calvin and Zero meet two girls their name were Jesse and Danielle. Jesse and Danielle play for the team Bauer Electric and Calvin and Zero play for Little Italy. Both teams are in the Y league. Bauer Electric were the league champions last year and they are trying to win the championship for the second year straight. Calvin and Zero take the two girls to the towns carnival to have a little fun with them. The two teams end up in the championship together. The Defending champs won the game 2-1 as everyone tried their hardest to not let Bauer Electric win the title for the second time.
The book Double Fake was fascinating. I could refer to it very well. My favorite part of the story was when the boys came back to win the playoff game to advance them to the championship game. It was my favorite part because it showed how if people work together how much they can get done together. The way the book ended was not the way I was expecting. I was expecting that Little Italy would come win the championship game. But, it ended up with Bauer Electric winning the championship game for the second time in a row.
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn about soccer. This is a very educational book about soccer. It explains everything that you need to know about soccer. Any person that likes to play sports should read this book. It takes about how the boys went through the training and then how there season was from start to end.
