This book is full of Bible verses and biblical anecdotes to help the girls going through probably the toughest time of their lives and asking why God? Why me? Did God do this to me because of what I have done in the past? If God loves me why is this happening to me? If God was real this wouldn’t have happened, I need answers and I need hope and I don’t know where to find Gods answers to these questions I have.
This is where Morgan is stepping in to help all of the other girls who have found themselves in the same situation she was in in 2020. She doesn’t have all of the answers but after God laid it on her heart to write this book she did a deep dive on the Bible and found a lot of examples of other people having the same questions about their different situations and how God answered them. We don’t get to look forward in our lives the way we can skip forward a couple chapters in the Bible and see if the the Israelites ever made it to the promise land or not; but we can use those past examples of the way God provided and made good on his promises to give us the peace and hope we need during this time of heartbreaking miscarriage & help find the purpose in the pain.
~quotes~
“I asked again, Why God? This time, I felt his voice as He simply and clearly replied back to me, Because I know you'll use it. In that moment, my perspective shifted from seeing this as a tragedy happening to me to an assignment by God happening for me. Don't misunderstand me, though. That didn't mean God caused my miscarriage. But I do believe He allowed it to happen to me and that He had a plan to use it for good.” Chpt 2
~There are also questions and challenges for the reader at the end of some of the chapters to engage and help you reflect on your own journey and not just Morgan’s.~
“I hope the Lord will reveal to you some ways in which you can use the heartache you're feeling to help others, that you'll find ways to use your pain and not waste it. What does "good" look like for you? What are some ways you can think of to actively start using this pain for good? Or what are some of the ways you already have?
If you could pick your own version of this messy pain turning out "good," what would you choose? What would that look like?” Chpt 2

“To echo God's own challenge to me, what are the things you should really be praying for? In what areas do you feel called to submit to God's authority and how He will or has answered your prayers? What emotions have you been holding onto that arent from the Lord that you need to release?”-chpt 6
~These were a couple of my favorite quotes! ~
“I once heard someone say that "no" is a full sentence and doesn't require an explanation. Set boundaries and realistic expectations for those around you!” Chpt 3

“The timing of my story and of yours is divine and perfect.” Chpt 13
