I thought I would give this one a try since I was looking for something angsty but without OW drama and since book one seemed to be free of OW drama I thought this one would be safe from that as well. Ya, not so much. The hero and heroine have an ONS, spend two weeks flirting, and when the heroine goes to talk to the hero she finds him getting it on with a whore in his room <--- doesn't that just scream romance to you? Needless to say, I was turned off by the hero before the book even really began....sigh.
SIDE NOTE: Just ONCE in this type of scenario would I LOVE to see the heroine go off after the hero does this kind of thing and find herself some random dick and then rub it in the hero's face.

Pipe is a totally clueless guy when it comes to feelings. When he saw his friend/brother in the MC Nickel find Karmen, a woman he couldn't live without, he couldn't understand it. Why settle down with one woman? He did like flirting with Nikki, Karmen's best friend. Then one night the flirting lead to a hot night together. In the morning, he knew something had changed, he just didn't want to face it. She showed up at his door and he answered with another woman there. Nikki took off and before he knew it, she had left town. How can he have caught feelings for one woman and how is he going to get her back?
Omgosh, I thought Nickel was the bomb and nothing to top it but I am glad to be wrong. Pipe is an awesome guy once he pulls his head out of an orifice. Nikki and how she felt about Pipe and the situation between them made my heart hurt. They fit so perfectly together and I loved them so much! Alice, a secondary character that I am pretty sure is going to get her own book soon is an absolute scream! Winter Travers is amazing and I now have to own her entire back list. 5 stars for Pipe!

The opening reminded me of a low-rent Motorcycle Man by KA coz Pipe (H) was in bed with ow when Nikki (h) knocked on his room at the clubhouse. They were not in a relationship at this point, it was just an ONS but Nikki already had some feelings.
She leaves the town that night and Pipe felt bad but he couldn’t figure out why. It took him a while and he did try to find the heroine even though he hasn’t realized yet that he has feelings for her.
Pipe found Nikki and proceeded to move to the house next to hers to try and win her back. He was certainly clueless at the start.
Overall, I was prolly in the mood for some angst and I liked this as Pipe did grovel and feel remorse and there was no ow as soon as Pipe realized his feelings for Nikki (after that ow scene).

Pipe was the second book in Winter Travers Fallen Lords MC.
Pipe and Nikki hooked up in the first book, Nickel. Nikki was Karmen’s best friend and Pipe was Nickel’s MC brother. The hookup meant more to Nikki than it did Pipe and Nikki moved to a town an hour away to get away from Pipe. The book opened with Karmen finally able to track down her best friend.
I really wasn’t a fan of Pipe. He was a total idiot, so the story wasn’t working well for me in the beginning. Pipe did grow on me as he began to get some brain cells and the story progressed. I love alpha bikers so once they get their act together I’m usually on board. The beginning probably merited a 3 or 3.5 for me, but I enjoyed the latter half so it bumped it to a 4. The editing errors were disappointing so it dropped it down to a 3.5 again but this review site rounded it up to a 4 again.
The storyline focused on the relationship development but Travers also had secondary themes running - one of which was a carry over from the previous book, without additional explanation, so reading the series in order was vital.

I saw this audio book long time ago. But I hesitate to listen to it. Because I thought it would be a bad romance with high dose of cheesy. The blurp is not promising at all. But then I snatched it and started listening. I have to admit, the writing can be better. But the story is good. The romance is not steamy but adequate.
What I like the most is Nikki's character. She is super sassy. Takes no prisoner and she does not cry much. When Pipe broke her heart, she solders on. Moving on, finding new job and done her best to live. Pipe takes time to grow on me. He is insensitive at first then when he realizes how much Nikki's meant to him, he fights to get her back to his life. He is rough, but now and then he can be outward romantic. And I can not help swooning for his romantic side.
Overall, aside from writting style, I do enjoy this book.

Good God almighty, what is this author doing to me?!?!?!
I have fallen head over heels in love, all over again, with the Fallen Lords. I didn’t realize I missed them as much as I did until I started reading this one. Oh man I have missed the craziness of these girls, and the badassness of these guys. (Wait, is that even a word? Nope…but I’m gonna roll with it. Lol)
I honestly couldn’t see Nikki and Pipe together. Even in book one. I just couldn’t. It never crossed my mind for them to be together. I don’t know why, but I just didn’t. But I wish I would have. I absolutely love them together.
Nikki left her home town, the town she has spent her whole life in, to get away from the one man who should of never gotten close enough to her, to break her. But he did, and being around Pipe and the Fallen Lords is the last thing she wants. So she does the only thing she can think to do, and that’s run. But she does it in the dead of night, when no one knows she is leaving, and no one knows where she is going. But eventually her crazy bestie finds her and she brings along the one man she has been running from. When everything she was running from comes and slaps her in the face, she has no choice but to deal with it. But come to find out, Pipe isn’t the only one who wants Nikki and will go to extreme lengths to get her.
Pipe didn’t know what to do with the sassy little thing that worked her way into first his head, then his bed, then his heart. With never having had a relationship or a woman he has wanted to spend more time with, he freaks out. In a way that leaves her running. Knowing he messed up and not knowing how to fix it, he doesn’t go after her. But eventually the little spitfire, Karmen, finds her for him. He didn’t realize just how much he missed her, needed her, and wanted her, until he lays eyes on her again. But he knows to get her back won’t be easy, but he has to do it, because he needs her more than he wants her.
I love reading stories where a woman can bring someone as alpha as these guys, to their knees. It’s fascinating, intriguing, and so exciting. This one was no different.
And of course the ending. The endings to these books are driving me crazy. I can’t handle it. I wanted to throw my kindle against the wall for the ending of this one. The ending of Nickle was something I could handle. This one, not so much. Like what in the ever loving hell?!?! WHY?!?!?! Can it be March tomorrow, so I can have book 3? If I beg enough can I get the book now? I might try that!!

Pipe is a smart man but maybe not so much when it comes to women. However I️ will say that he definitely went big in his gesture to win Nikki back. These two characters were fun, hot, and perfect for each other. The sex was hot and the chemistry just as steamy. And having the other characters play their roles in this story was fun with the girls and new comers. The author definitely knows how to keep us hooked and wanting more.

Whelp...there goes that. I was optimistic about safety after reading the first book in the series. But nope. I just couldn't get over it. I get he eventually made a huge effort, but when she said she knew she had "no right" to be upset because they were not really together (after being together). So she excused him fucking a club whore (or getting a BJ - I don't remember) (which she walked in on).
Glad she got over it, but I did NOT!

I was a lil bit afraid of the scene with the other woman... but it was bearable... not really detailed... she knocked on his door, he opened with bare legs and then she heard some woman calling him “sugar plum” from his room... and all this after H’s had sex with h... mhhhh what a jerk. However, I know that he hasn’t slept with this ow, she was “pleasing” him. And after the h left, he threw the ow out...

very similar format to book 1. very fast paced and lots of fun. absolutely love Alice .. so hope their is a book planned for that mad hatter. there are some things i don't like, mostly the same things as in Nickel's book and mostly club issues but overall an enjoyable read

While I had a bit of difficulty getting into Pipe, It quickly sucked me in. The beginning was dragging a bit, as much as I loved Karmen in the previous book, this book she got on my nerves a bit with the way she treated the heroine, Nikki. It felt like everyone was patting Nikki on the head and ignoring everything she wanted and was saying.
Once we get into the meat of the book, I was hooked. I love the banter between Pipe and Nikki. I loved watching Pipe's growth from the beginning to end. Nikki was strong, she had no qualms standing up for herself or leaving when she needed.
Overall, Pipe is a great read. Less heavy on the MC aspect, and more focused on the relationship between the two. I felt the story was paced well, not feeling jumpy or like things were rushed and skipped over. I would recommend to the reader looking for a reforming hero.

My addiction... New books and MC series... Oh boy... Could I be happier!!
I've had the pleasure of reading another book from this author and I loved it and join an MC book into the mix and I'm on cloud nine.
Winter Travers is the author in question. Her writing is hot and sassy, with lots of feelings and emotions into the mix.
Pipe is her latest release and is the second book from the Fallen Lords MC series. I haven't read the first one but I sure will.
This book tells the stories of Pipe and Nikki.
Pipe is a womanizer. He's a fierce defensor of one night stands with no strings attached... He's super stubborn, careless and enjoy being free. Until the day Nikki crosses his path.
Nikki's life wasn't easy. Since she was a kid she balanced between foster homes and that made her a close girl. She don't trust easily and that can become a problem. When her best friend fall in love she wonders if that can happen to her. But when Pipe crosses her path she runs.
I'm in love with this series after only reading one book.
The plot is amazing and the interaction between the characters is intense and raw. The run game made this reading so much more appealing. I love a book that can get me hooked in a sec.
The way the story progressed, the intrigues, the unknown made me love this so much more.
Amazing book for the lovers of the MC reading world such as myself.

Yep that would be me.
Going in I hoped for a great story and that's what I got.
There's no cheating, which is a huge turn off for me and is quite common in MC novels.
Pipe is a little messed up. He doesn't do relationships, he truly doesn't know how.
Nikki knows Pipe isn't what she needs but can't resist a one night stand.
After that one night they flirt off an on, she takes it one way and he goes the exact opposite.
When she shows up at his place she finds something that breaks her heart and sends her running.
So we have one heroine with a broken heart and one seriously confused hero, when realization smacks Pipe in the head it's too little too late....
So I'm definitely going back to read book one asap, this one hooked me in the first chapter and I could not put it down. And the secondary characters, love them! I can see this is going to be a favorite series for me.

Hilarious
I think this book is my new favorite written by Winter Travers! It has it all that you would want from a MC romance and a wee bit more!
The ol' ladies or soon to be are definitely on the train to/from Crazy town. (Which seems to be the norm in Winter's books) but the humor it caused was appropriately crazy. The guys characters are awesome again in this book you really see how your early life impacts you into adulthood and beyond.
This series is a little light on MC protocol but the story makes up for it . I do like how most of the violence is off page but that's a personal preference, some authors you need to take a break mid-book to recover from the violent visuals even though I usually enjoy those books as well.
The sneak peek of book 3 has me chomping to start that story.
This is one series that can't be read as stand-a-lones but that's okay it just means you get all the Fallen Lord's goodness!!!

OMG. Winter Travers sure knows how to keep you wanting more. I fell in love with pipe and Nikki story. He is just so sexy and she is a sassy little thing. There were so many times that I just laughed and laughed and then those times that I really wanted to cry or throw my kindle across the room. After that ending I can not wait for the next book in this series to come out. There are not enough stars for me to give this book as many as I would like. A Amazing story.

Winter has done it again. Another great story with Sweet and Sassy women and hot alpha males. Nikki balances Pipe perfectly. the story had plenty of romance and drama and keep you on your toes. and I love the intro to the next book I can't wait to read it.

At the beginning I felt bad for Pipe poor guy didn’t have a clue 😂 and sometimes I wanted to jump in the book and give Nikki a slap upside the head but with that being said I loved it from start to finish and OMG Alice was hilarious and I freaking loved her.

Humore meets MC
This storyline was humorous and really quirky characters. This is a book from a series and from what I’ve read so far better read in sequence. It is a light MC read so don’t expect lots of fights ect.. basically it is based around the characters and only partly the club. So if you want a light read with a fun romance this book would be great

Ok can I say how much I adore Winter Travers her stories always take me on a roller coaster of emotions and I can't get enough of it . The Fallen Lords MC just keeps getting better and better plus with the way we got a little tease of the next one at the end I'm just craving more my heart is all over the place . Pipe can be read as a standalone the couple is mentioned in Nickel their the best friends of Nickel and Karmen don't worry for those who have read the first book Karmen and Nickel make a couple of hilarious appearances . Pipe and Nikki are perfect together they get each others since of humor with witty banter , share a similar back ground , have off the charts chemistry in and out of the bedroom . Loved Nikki she's funny , sassy , protective , stock in leggings and has crazy friends that I can't wait to read more about especially Alice with her cow onesie and obsession of Vin diesel I'm so hopping that one of the brothers is a look alike cause I can imagine her reaction . Pipe took me some time to fall for not to long but he really messed up and when he figured out what he did he tried to fix what he created , he's very protective , intense , naughty , and loves his club who are his family . Everytime Winter teases her readers of whats to come I just can't wait to get my greedy hands on it I'm so looking forward to whats to come in the Fallen Lords be prepared to laugh out loud and be in need of a cold shower.

This is the second book in the Fallen Lords MC series and if the first book didn't have you hooked on these hot alpha bikers then Pipe will make the decision easy. Pipe and Nikki's story is one that not only contains the underlying grit of a true MC romance but has all the side dishes that we all love from drama, suspense, angst and off the chart sexy scenes that will have your heart racing. However, Winter Travers doesn't just leave you with that, she will have you literally rolling round the floor laughing at some of the things that are said and done in this book. If it is not Nickel's girl Karmen saying some crazy stuff then it is Nikki's new found friend Alice who will have you wishing this character could come to life and be part of your own girl squad. Pipe could not be rated anything less than five stars. Bring on book 3 in this series because I am not sure if I can wait much longer for the next instalment of the Fallen Lords MC.

Sugar? *sigh
Oooh I think I had more than my heart melted whilst reading this book! The first time Pipe calls Nikki 'Sugar' I was a goner! Nikki and Pipe shared a night together and then he totally messes up, resulting in her moving away from those closest to her.
Now he is making it his mission to get her back and keep her safe as it appears somebody is watching her. But he has his work cut out, he hurt her once and Nikki is adamant it won't happen again. Sit back and watch the sparks fly as this alpha male tries to get his lady back.
It was also great to catch up with the rest of the Fallen Lords and some of the women in their lives. I can feel more stories coming from this group and I cannot wait!

When Hero says to the heroine “I thought this would be more difficult “ after your friends tell you to make him grovel… you know there’s no grovel and she is a joking heroine! I hate that, so muchhhhh, women in romance books are so understanding for my taste…
I understand they were not together but… camon! The best way to realize your feelings is not fucking a whore… it’s not so complicated…

So freakin good
Omg i freakin loved pipe so much i had so many laugh out loud moments?, the banter between pipe and his brother's was hilarious i love how these alpha men when they find the woman for them they love and they love hard .
I cant wait to get started on maniac. Totally a 5 star read from me.

I really liked the book but I couldn't get past the fact that she basically fled her home from a guy she had only sex once (if even it was the best she had ever had) and expected him to be waiting for her after weeks of their hook up. Cora was right to call ber up, like they didn't have anything, she can be hurt of course but more than that no
