I wanted something raunchy and I definitely got it! 😂 I didn't quite understand what I was asking for haha

FINALLY A RH WITH a strong and badass female lead! Seriously, I feel like most rh MCs are so helpless and basically at the mercy of everyone around them. But Melisande was a total badass and it was so refreshing

NOT A MEDIUM OR SLOW BURN... was pretty much straight down to business with all of the love interests. I need a little more build up so I actually care about the relationships forming

I FOUND IT UNREALISTIC how a fallen angel was so okay and ready for the sexy times that happened, especially since it wasn't her choice to fall from Heaven. I wanted a little more inner turmoil about her situation and decisions

THE STORYLINE was really interesting and I want to see Melisande get her revenge so badly! If I continue with this series, it will be purely for that

I don't know if I will continue with this series yet. Maybe I will come back to it in a couple weeks or so when I want something trashy and steamy again 😅 I recommend this if you want a fast-paced rh with a really badass female lead and are okay with it not being a medium or slow burn.

Big HELL yes! 🌙

What a story. What an imagination. I got sucked in.
Melisandre was the perfect blend of “don’t fuck with me”, and owning up to that attitude without being crass. ✨

I loved all the tension.
I loved all the different love interests, and how they were build up without being off-putting.
Trust me, in RH the sex part can be a bit much, but this felt more like they formed a bond than just jumping in bed with one another and I appreciate that. I think it was hot, sexy and even delicate.
*insert slow clap

World building wise, I am so for it.
Like FULLY into it.
Nightside & Brightside is an awesome idea.
Come on, it is!

I was just overjoyed with this story.
Will for sure be coming back for more. 😈

4.5.

This was the best RH book I have read in a long time.

I would say it gets off to a little bit of shakey start with the power dynamics between Milisandre and the Demon's, but that soon dissipates and it is great watching her grow into the fallen angel she is becoming.

While, as with all RH, there is a strong romance aspect, I felt like the over arching plot was a strong and engaging one and Milisandre has a clear character arc.

This felt like a proper book, rather than just an excuse for romance.

I liked all of the guys, although some are more enigmatic that others. I didn't think I'd like Belil, but I think he's my favourite now.

That ending was a bit of a punch in the chest, but I really like that Milisandre isn't perfect and has her own agenda, despite if the issues it causes with the men.

I also really liked the qrola building and thought the descriptions were really vivid and interesting.

Highly recommend!

I felt so disconnected to this story. Even at the end of the book I still know nothing about any of the main characters. They didn’t have any depth to them. I honestly don’t even have an opinion on any of the characters because there’s just not enough to go off of.

The world building is promising but again, not explained well enough. It’s an interesting plot with why Melisande fell from heaven but there’s no tangible next more which makes it feel like it’s just floating aimlessly around.

The characters were so bland. All the guys were the same, surface level, no emotion, no personality. I tried so hard to connect with them but there was nothing there. The romance was not great either. It was like insta love but worse somehow. There was no development, no reason for them to be so into each other, and everything just happened. The smut scenes came out of no where.

Basically I was not connected to this story at all. It was hard to get through. Finally at the very end it felt like we were getting somewhere but I’m not sure if it was enough for me to continue the series. I am curious how it plays out though.

DNF - quit at 35%
I had hopes that this would be a story I would enjoy, but I didn’t. Others may like this, but I didn’t. The premise of the story just didn’t work for me. I kept thinking “what the heck!” to everything happening. The world building really wasn’t there, I felt lost & confused about a lot of things that happened in the first 35%. I couldn’t get into the FMC, because she was all over the place, one minute she’s got her moral compass straight, the next she’s deep in bloodlust & fighting for the glory of it, the next she’s wanting revenge on Gabriel & Heaven. I also can’t tolerate a FMC lusting for the guys that treat her so badly. I don’t think most women are that stupid to want sex with the said jerk, to just be all about letting the lust driving them. Sorry, but I won’t be continuing with this series.

At my age (approaching 60), life is way to short & my time is to important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.

3.5: Melisande is a fighter--an angel fallen from heaven (or, pushed as it were) into the depths of Hell--thrown into the Seventh Circle's brutal fighting rings under the Prince of Wrath, Belial. I was surprised that I liked this book, since I so DISLIKED the Cimmeron Cage books. However, the plot moved at a good clip and managed to balance the larger plot (Melisande's revenge on Gabriel) with her love stories.

This book is described as an enemies to lovers slow-burn romance, but I would disagree with both. Melisande hardly hated...anyone, even after all the choices were taken away from her about where she lived, who she interacted with, and the conditions of her "captivity." There were brief moments of anger/fury and frustration, but overall she pretty much gave in to her traitorous body every.single.time without much of a fight. In fact, she came to enjoy it. This is a dangerous line to walk: captivity masquerading itself as sexual freedom. Hello, 50 Shades.

Lucifer? She was momentarily afraid of him until she found herself lusting over his dark blond hair, silver eyes, and tattooed body.
Azazel? At once a seemingly-duplicitous shadow-demon-turned the only guy with her best interest at heart (and, an inexplicable desire to fill the gaping maw in his soul with our girl, Melisande).
Belial (her kidnapper and the Prince of Wrath)...I mean, shit. The author wrote that relationship like it was downright playful.

Maybe this didn't bother others, but the more I thought about it, Melisande's journey to "freedom" (self-actualization, whatever) was once again seen through the lens of what other men think is best for her. I wanted her to be f*cking angry ALL THE TIME. Not just in the fighting ring. I wanted her to fight her attractions, to come to terms with her own desires within herself, not prompted by some guy sticking his hands down her pants (or, worse yet, performing sexual acts on her while she was asleep. Cuz that's consensual.) Lucifer, Tascius, they are doing the right thing. Pushing her in good ways and supporting her decisions...having an actual conversation with her, even if their relationships are the opposite of slow-burn.

I'll still read the second book, cuz I'm hopeful the author corrects some of these issues moving forward, and at this point I'm mainly in it for Tascius.

Having just read the The Lili Kazana Series I was really worried this book would be too identical. But hot damn this book stands out all on its own and I absolutely loved it from start to finish. After being betrayed by her troupe leader and Archangel Gabriel, Melisande really took to being cast from heaven smoothly. In fact some of her first thoughts after falling are cursing since she's finally able to do so without pain ripping through her. Lust and wrath become part of her new self. As a trained killer being thrown into an arena and being told to fight hell spawn, Melisande takes to it like breathing. Then again she's fueled by anger and revenge. She plans to win her seven fights to earn freedom from Belial an Archdemon all so she can somehow find a way to return to heaven and bring Gabriel down. The book was so damn good and such a phenomenal start to the series. Melisande's four mates are introduced but not everything is roses and butterflies with them and I can't wait to see how everything develops over the course of the series. Especially after that ending and each of her mens reactions!!! :O I also have to appreciate how the author kept things moving so smoothly and really made Melisande into such a badass. I cannot wait to see where the next story goes and how hell will react/handle Melisande as a champion and winner. Over the course of her stay in hell she's managed to gain quite a following and is now even part owner of her own parcel of hell in the Seventh Circle, what she does with all this remains to be seen. This girl may have been an angel but she's fully embraced her dark side and I'm living for it!

Oh hell. I need the next one. An fmc who doesn’t back down, just fallen from heaven and tossed in a gladiator like arena. Multiple POV, but just enough of each guy to tease.so many different characters, the guys and their backgrounds are really fleshed out. Lucifer, Azrael, Tas and Belial. Favourite character was Belial. Contains sex, violence and death. It’s gonna be interesting to see what happens next, can’t wait.

I'm so bored....Ok, whining over.

This was a pretty good book. I liked it. I had never read any book by this author and I've already finished reading one of her serials as I type this review. I liked when angels go all dark, it makes me clap my hands like an evil villain.

Can't wait for book 2.

So quickly
The h was a human brought into Heaven's army by Gabriel. She's spent centuries battling for the good guys until she's betrayed by her mentor and pushed from Heaven. She falls to the seventh circle of hell and js found and branded by Belial the prince of Wrath. He decides to give her the chance to fight in his arena where after the seventh cycle a fighter can be given freedom. The h is determined to get back to Heaven to have her revenge so she's determined to win, she never expected to find her true self in Hell.

***** "
RH
Tascius is a Nephilim fellow fighter and her first friend in hell
Lucifer Prince of Hell and another fallen angel, though he chose to fall
Belial is the Prince of the circle she's in and the Prince of Wrath
Azacus is a Warcher and is millennia old like Lucifer. He teaches her to use her magic

This was an interesting enough read, just enough action, good sexy times and a badass h but see..... I didn't like her and that affected everything else for me. Her betrayal of Belial made me dislike her even more. She started off convinced everyone in hell is her enemy and of course sin is not for her, but shortly after she's in sexual situations with each of the guys and she doesn't bat an eyelash....a complete 180 that absolutely did not ring true
The h's entire motivation was revenge against Gabriel, then she's suddenly plotting to kill Satan....like uh?? How??? Jusso???
The relationships also didn't quite work for me, I get the sex but not the development of feelings between the mcs
Tascius and the h calling each other friend just irritated metrue
The arena fighting got old pretty quickly

This book just left me vaguely angry and dissatisfied and I can't pinpoint exactly why lol, moving on to book 2 as this ends with the h being an asshole and she's now on her own. Why all these guys want her absolutely defeats me but with Satan making creepy moves in the background and defeating him now being at the forefront I'm trying the next book

This is a very creative premise/setting and the book is well-paced. The author has talent. It’s a reverse-harem romance, but I wouldn’t call it slow-burn. The arena fighting got a bit redundant. I skimmed some of it. I didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between the MC’s. Our h’s motivations for falling into intimate relationships (other than revenge toward Gabriel) weren’t terribly relatable. She went through a rapid 180 concerning her sexuality. She’d been very oppressed in heaven so I guess she felt very liberated. Ends on a cliffhanger. One of her beaus is mad at her because she conquered. I doubt I’ll continue the series, but it was fun. Onward!

Fantastic.
This jumped right in with the action and the fighting.

Melisande is a fucking badass and I’m so here for it, it’s crazy.
She’s cunning, she’s got attitude for days, she’s pretty as all hell but an angel so she’s just unaware and uncaring of it.

I love her.
And the men she’s gathered around herself.
Hot damn are they impressive and sexy.

There’s Beliad, who saw her first and took her as his captive to fight in his arena. He also marked her and saved her. The tension between these two is almost unbearably hot and crackly.

There’s Tascius, who’s sadness in a brutal place calls to her. He protects her from the monsters from the inside. Giving her friendship and care and watching her back. The attraction is instant and they don’t fight it hardly at all.

There’s Azazel, who teaches her about her magic, goading her to get the best results. He’s smoke and secrets, watching everything with the hunger inside him threatening to unleash. Hes sexy as fuck, but Melisande doesn’t know if she should trust him yet.

Then there’s Lucifer. The only other fallen Angel in hell. Satan’s heir, wants Melisande on his side so bad, he aches with the loneliness of being the only Angel who chose hell and free will over heaven’s high order and strictures. But Melisande doesn’t know if she can trust a word he says after being told about him from his enemies POV all her life.

I love all of them, and the plot is going to be SO good when it picks up and takes off, I just know it. We get hints of it in this book, and it starts kicking up at the end, but mostly this is just introductions and world building. Which I’m not complaining about at all. It was awesome.

I’m super excited to continue on with this. The FMC being a complete and total badass is my favorite thing ever.
I can’t wait to see all the secrets and danger unravel.

Well this was a good start and an interesting story line. I like the characters and the banter between them is funny. It seems like she's going to pull them all together in the end. She does seem to be winning the fights quite easily and I know she's an angel but it kind of instant. I can't wait for Gabriel to get his. His such a smile ball.

Wooow such a good fucking book! I didn´t know what to expect from this book, i have read from Corvin before but i didn´t really get hooked so i only read the first book from one of her series i think. But this one, she really did it good. I liked the mc, she was badass, spit fire and blunt. I liked the guys as well, Belial, Lucifer, Azazel and Tascius. All alpha men
I am happy to have waited until atleast the second book was out, but then i will have to wait until the third gets out, which is in july 10th :((

Would highly recommend this series who love all things paranormal. From start to finish I didn’t want to put this book down. This story grabs your attention from the very beginning and does NOT let go, even after the end!

Melisande is a fallen angel, the reason as to why is unfurled slowly and mysteriously. She may have been an angel but she is no saint! We learn all about her time in the human realm, the heavens and now in hell. Corvin does a masterful job of world building and setting the stage for future books in the series with For the Hell of It. She paints hell and its inhabitants beautifully, which might seem like an odd way to phrase it given the location, but she does, you’ll see what I mean when you read it.

For the Hell of It is a prime example as to why PNR RH is so highly revered among readers. Melisande is nobody’s victim and the epitome of “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”. She is on a revenge seeking mission and I am here for it! In addition to a fierce female lead we also get 4 smoking hot males, no hell pun intended! Out of her romantic interests I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite. I would give this story a medium burn rating, her relationship with each guy develops differently and uniquely.

I thought this story was gripping, unique, and completely worthy of a 5 star rating. I hope you give it a read, you won’t regret it!

Wow

Just wow. I loved every moment if this book. The characters were great and the world building was well developed. The only thing I would have liked was a tad more character backstory on some of them. Like why Melisande kept up the hidden truth about her fall. I mean at this point she fell, so why keep the farce?! I know it probably serves a purposes and I'm just impatient. Overall. I'd highly recommend this book. Now off to read the next!

Melisande despairs at her ultimate fall from grace. Kicked out of Heaven by Archangel Gabriel, she falls to the pits of Hell only to find her halo ash, her holy light extinguished and her wings black as pitch. Her angelic strictures gone, Melisande can now curse and feel lust. Fuck. She’s immediately picked up by super hot demon Belial, Prince of Wrath, taken to his palace and told she’s going to fight in his arena. It’s win and live or lose and die. If she wins five fights, she’ll be golden. Seven and she wins her freedom. Her goal: Win her freedom, then go back to Heaven and kick Gabriel’s golden ass.

But the more Melisande fights in the arena and wins, the more she loves it. This is a new type of freedom she never had under Gabriel’s heavenly choir strictures. Now known as No Saint, Melisande is undefeated and living the good life in the champion’s quarters.

But there is one other like Melisande in Hell, and that is the Morningstar himself, Lucifer. He wants Melisande to be able to access the changed angelic magic in her ... but why? And more than anything, Lucifer wants to know why Melisande fell.

This book was really fun. I loved all the demons, and Melisande was hot and feisty. This is a reverse harem but not gratuitously so. Looking forward to the next installment.

This way better than I expected. Still lacking on important parts -I missed a lot of world building. And character building could have been better, Lucifer was a rather boring a lame figure to be honest, and although I do like the heroine, her development wast rather aprubt and I can’t say anything more about her really, that she is a good fighter and has pretty brass balls.

🌟Brief Summary:
This is a review for the entire series.
This will have mild spoilers but I’ll try to stick to safety and opinions.

‼️This was a solid 4 star series until book 5 and it all went to shit. (See spoilers below)
Honestly I really have this 2.5 stars ⭐️ but rounded up cause it was safe and had no OW.

❣️Things I Liked/Loved❣️
-❤️I LOVED THE HAREM- they were not OTT but they were a well balanced and had lots of swoon moments.
-Overall good 🌎 world building
-Depth of character and SOME character growth.
-I liked the Gladiator vibe
-I love me a FMC that has fight to her…how ever juvenile🙄

Things I Did 💔 Not Like
-‼️I DO NOT LIKE THE VERY CLOSE BUT TWISTED BIBLICAL STORY. I like fantasy and even Angel/demons PNR but this was pushing my limits. If it wasn’t written by Cate I would have DNF and maybe still should have.

-‼️The FMC was the most Juvenile FMC. She thought telling Someone to “fuck off” was the answer to EVERYTHING.

-‼️The constant separation from one or more of her harem throughout the series. My Pet peeve!

-‼️2 different men in her harem where being controlled by another entity during the series. I hate this esp when the guy doesn’t really have remorse for what he didn’t to the h during that time. It’s so dumb I hate this type of storyline. At the very least that control wasn’t sexual so they stayed faithful. That’s not always the case in these situations so I appreciate that.

-⚠️now for a spoiler of book 5⚠️
Why oh why🤦🏼‍♀️
This is where the story took a serious plummet. Book 5 was like reading a totally diff story. INTRODUCING A NEW AND MORE POWERFUL ENEMY IN THE LAST BOOK IS A NO GO!!!!!!!
This enemy wasn’t introduced took the very end of book 4. Till then she had never been talked about. Then we had to endure almost a whole book of our FMC being tortured. Then her men are yet again in and out of the story. This was unpleasant and frustrating to read. What was the point of her being pregnant? She stupidly goaded the bad guy to the pony of torture but all was ok cause she protected her baby w magic 🙄 she didn’t even allow herself to think of the baby as a priority. This book dive bombed this series for me. Then she ends up as a queen and goddess!? It just took weird turns and I WAS NOT HERE FOR IT. Ugh it’s so dumb.
The only thing worth reading was the epilogue.

🦹🏻‍♂️ Hero: RH
🪽Lucifer- Prince of Hell, Fallen Angel, son of Satan

🦁Beliel- Prince of Wrath, Prince of the Seventh Circle

🐦‍⬛Azezel- Death God, Lord of the Watchers and the Grigori.

☠️Tascius - Nephilim turned Archangel

🦋 Heroine:
Melisande- Fallen Angel 🪽
Prideful, arrogant, self righteous, severely juvenile, extremely entitled,
makes lots of really stupid decisions and AWLAYS says the wrong thing……
😳So yeah 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t love her- she didn’t have any real character growth till book 5 and even then she wasn’t likable.

💭 POV:
Multiple first person you get 1POV from each guy per book. Would have liked more from the guys.

🔥 Burn Rate:
Medium- first sexy times in book 1 is at 50% and is pretty steady throughout the series

😡/😍 Angst level:
Medium-low

❤️‍🔥 Sexy times & Descriptive sex: yes 🔥🔥🔥🔥 there are some good spicy sexy times

🌓 Push/Pull:
Some mild push pull with some of her men but nothing lasts to long.
Book 2 her and Beliel are on the outs it’s wrapped up by the end.

☠️ OW/OM Drama:
None

🤮 OW/OM Sex / Fluid or DNA Exchange:
None

🤬 Cheating:
None

👰🏼‍♀️ Virgins:
h is a V
None of her harem are V

⛈️Separation/ 3rd Act Breakup:
Mostly No -but throughout there are different times of separation with some of her mates.

Safety⚠️Triggers🗡️:
Torture
Bloody fighting

🌈Epilogue:
Yes

🥂HEA:
Yes

My opinion is just that… MY OPINION.
I know we all get passionate about our favorite reads and characters but we should respect each opinions a thoughts. ~Thank you

An Angel Falls to Hell

I’d probably give this book 4.5 ⭐️ if I could.

The book starts with the Fall of an angel, Melisande, pushed from Heaven by the Archangel Gabriel. She is the first angel to survive the Fall and fight to remain alive since Lucifer. Her beautiful white wings, blackened, her hair changed to violet and her halo in pieces, she is battered and weak when she is captured and enslaved by Belial, the Prince of Wrath.

She becomes the subject of fascination of Lucifer, his best friend Azazel and Belial. They come to a shaky agreement to train her to survive hell. At the same time she is placed in the arena and forced to fight for her freedom. Win 7 fights in a row and she can go free, though she has to beat the very best and worst of heaven and hell to do so, she has to kill the unkillable Nephilim.

The only reason this is 4.5 ⭐️ instead of 5 is that it took me a while to connect with the characters and to become invested in their story. I think that this is partly to do with the whole ‘heaven is good, hell is bad’ bias most people have. It took a long time to reveal that those biases, in this story, are not necessarily true.

There are many layers to this story and to the characters. Those layers take time to be revealed, but once they were I was captivated by it all. It was cleverly woven gradually through the chapters to construct a universe that glittered with dark and beautiful light. Whilst the first half of the book drew me slowly in to the story, the second half hauled me by my hair into the abyss. I devoured the second half of the book in half the time it took me to read the first half because I just couldn’t stop reading. I think the rest of the series may be the same.

This is a fantastic universe, the characters are fascinating and the story is compelling. I recommend giving it a whirl!

This was the first book that I've ever read by Cate Corvin, and I'm so happy that I found her! For the Hell of It was so incredibly written and had characters that I connected with on an emotional level. Despite being thrown from Heaven, Melisande took her fall in stride. Driven by anger and betrayal, she adapted to her new surroundings and embraced herself as she now was, sins and all. Through her fall she was finally able to indulge in the beauty of fighting and war that she was once forced to ignore. Although her life now was focused on battling and escaping Hell, she still managed to connect to several unexpected beings. They say you can't make friends in Hell, but leave it to Melisande to do so. She has a huge heart despite her predicament and is able to relate to these outcasts and sinners in a way she never thought able to. Turns out they aren't as different from her as she thought and are actually capable of true feelings.

This book had me on edge the entire time, and I didn't want it to end. That cliffhanger is a real game changer though. I'm not sure what to expect from all of the characters in the next book, however, I'm excited nonetheless. I can't wait to see how the stories continues and am anxiously waiting for the next in the series. Until then, please excuse me while I go read the rest of Cate's books.

4.5 Not Saint Stars

For the Hell of It is the first installment in the RH series Razing Hell by Cate Corvin.

This book was delectable. Fury, fire, violence, desire. I enjoyed all four counterparts in her future mates. They stand out so starkly against each other. I’m so beyond glad this book didn’t get cringey, it’s hard to tell given its landscape in Hell.

The world building was astounding. So descriptive. All these dark and horrifying places dappled in blood and death, but fills with the darkest beauty. Not only the rings of hell, but the magicks involved.

Tascius and Melisande fell into an easy alliance in the beginning. Relishing in their common pains, finding safe harbor in each other. Lucifer hides such loneliness and longing. Azazel pretends his void and empty elements are his whole presence, not the essence of all that gives. Baliel full of fury and vengeance. Who is the most alike to our FMC? And can these prideful alpha males all coexist for the pure happiness and fulfillment they’ll eventually bring her?

Vyra is so easy to adore. She’s this bright and sparkly spot hidden in leagues of darkness. She’s so full of this undeniable happiness and vulnerability. I love her to pieces.

I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of Cate Corvin's first book in her newest Razing Hell series. If you enjoy paranormal RH (reverse harem) books, you will NOT be disappointed by For the Hell of It. You meet Melisande, a newly fallen (pushed) angel who finds herself in Hell. She's quickly scooped up by Belial, the Prince of Wrath who has his own circle in Hell. While adjusting to her new life, she meets Lucifer (Satan's son), Tascius (a troubled Nephilim), and Azazel (a mysterious Watcher). Her reactions to and interactions with these males have her reconsidering all she believed to be true about Heaven and Hell, right and wrong, Good and Evil.

I would consider this a medium-burn story. There are lots of steamy scenes and there is no lack of sex, but there is also a good amount of character development and the sex doesn't feel at all gratuitous. I plowed through this book over the weekend and can't wait for the next in the series. The female main character is pretty bad-ass and I'm looking forward to seeing where these plot lines go.

I HIGHLY recommend this book and really you should check out all of Cate's books; they're hard to put down!

Wow, loved everything about this: unique premise, h to root for, delectable men, and intricate plot. I'm always drawn towards a story involving Hell and its inhabitants, and this one hit the spot. Melisande went through hell (haha), but doesn't stop kicking and fighting the entire book. Belial, Azazel, Tascius, & Lucifer all have distinct personalities and their own particular relationship with Melisande. Cannot get enough of Azazel, though. I love a fast-burn, but this medium-burn has plenty of action in every way (heehee), and I like her initial resistance, and then how each relationship develops at a different rate. Plus, I love hers and Vyra's friendship. Always love when female friendship is included in an RH instead of the h's world only being about the romance.

There's a lot of setup for continuation now that Melisande has a plan in place to take down her oppressors both in Heaven & Hell. I have a feeling with that ending she might have overshot her ambition. Will it be worth making the enemy she now has? No spoiler, but seems like there was a reason she shouldn't have taken on what she did. All in all, I'm pumped to see where this is headed.

No saint!

Fantastic read! I could not put it down! An angel thrown from heaven, surviving hitting the sands of hell. Ugh I loved our heroine, she was brave, and beautifully written with her vengeance! She's confused with the changes happening to her, the sin she feels she's committing, but slowly she starts to realize everything she's ever known is not quite what she been taught to believe. Demons, ancient deity, nephilim, and fallen angels seem to now tickle out little angels pickle and it seems sinning while plotting to take down gods chosen one has never been so damn delicious. I can't wait to see what happens next, we have a betrayal that seems to be uglier then our heroine first realized, and she's gonna have a he'll of a fight on her hands to deal with a scorned Prince of hell, but if this book keeps up with the same energy, I know nothing with stop her when she puts her mind to it consequences be damned

2.5*, exactly half way point, because I'm so baffled with this book.

Obviously, a RH fantasy isn't going to be an amazing piece of literature (or if you know of one, please, do tell me), but I really don't know what to think of this one.
It's a weird mix of characters that are both pleasant and completely weird, set in a world that definitely doesn't make sense to me (stuck half way between not enough description to be visualised, and too complex to get away with so little detailing), a main plot that is simple but lost in what I can only assume are sub-plotlines that feels like random side quests...

All in all, I am unable to tell you what this book is actually about, except "angels falls down to Hell from Heaven, gets concussion-induced hallucinations about shagging random Hell princes while fighting in a gladiator arena"... Yep, that should sum it up.

This is a new to me author and I’m so glad I found her! This book was AWESOME! I love everything about demons and Lucifer but it’s been a while since I read anything with other types of creatures in it. This is a reverse harem story about Melisande’s fall from heaven. She encounters Belial, Tascius, Lucifer, and Azazel. Now this book doesn’t get too far into the sexual aspect of the harem but holy cow is it hot. The sexual tension between Melisande and all the men is crazy. I don’t even know how to tell you about this book without giving too much away but this book comes out soon and it is WORTH IT to read it. I’m obsessed with reverse harem right now and this book did not disappoint!!
