An epic story with so many laugh out loud moments

Another superb story from Mr Root, with Tolley and Tuppence stealing this show.

The absolutely awful personalities on display here are easy to identify and say so much about current reality "stars". The cringe factor is huge and they are vile people. The running joke about has beens "qualities" grates at first but then builds into genuine dislike for her.

A couple of quotes that may help you decide whether to read this or not:
‘He absorbs it and projects the intention in a compelling, transcendent way.’
‘Acted better and projected?’ said Tolly incredulously. ‘I feel like I’m in a butcher’s shop with all those hams on stage with me.’

Stay with it

A GREAT tale with not so much twist and turns but vertical ups and downs. The world is full of idiots (aliens) who how ever appear to be in charge of the rest of us.
Perhaps we should be in AUS?

Should be on the tele.

Loved the twists and turns, the humour and the character portrayal.
All three of Artemus's books would make great TV or films.
