An actor who shares equal importance in a play with another. Unless you're Liam Black. Teagan has one goal in to get out of the small town she grew up in and never look back. Acting is her passion, and she's counting on her skills on stage to grant her a one-way ticket out of there. When she learns a talent scout will be attending their high school drama production, she knows she's finally got a chance at making her dreams come true. What she wasn't counting on was Hollywood heartthrob and notorious bad-boy Liam Black gate crashing the show. Forced to join Teagan's school to prepare for his next movie, Liam is supposed to be her costar, but how can she possibly shine when the limelight is entirely focused on him? He's got a bad reputation. He doesn't take their play seriously. And, worst of all, he and Teagan can't stand each other. Can they conjure up some chemistry on stage, or will this Hollywood hottie be too much for Teagan to handle?

I typically don't like Hollywood romances but I got sucked into Alexandra's easy writing so I decided to read book 2. Hollywood bad boy goes to real school for a role he has to research but ends up getting casted in the school play with our wannabe actress heroine. They have a love hate relationship and their parents are troubled. His is addicted to making him more and more famous without caring about what he wants. While hers is an alcoholic and is ruining her life. It was a good read despite me hating this trope.

This was really light and cute, but given how much I LOVED "The Wrong Bachelor" this one was slightly underwhelming
So the story is about Teagan who is aspiring to be an actress and she is cast in her school play next to the Hollywood heartthrob Liam Black, at first she can't stand him but later on they discover that they are not that different after all
it was short and cute at best so it's a nice read

A love-hate relationship is not my favorite, but it was still ok.
I didn't find the second book as interesting as the first one but I still liked it and it was fun seeing the characters from the first book in this one. Alexandra Moody's writing is very flowy. And I'm excited to read the last one.

this plot gives me mixed feelings and idk why, but ill figure it out...𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮! 🙂
so, lemme start with the things i liked about it. i liked that the story was easy to understand: teagan is a drama student and 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮. they're working on the beauty and the beast and teagan gets the lead role! then, 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙢, liam pops into the scene having the role of beast and teagan gets angry cuz he's not doing it seriously. 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣-the two start to fall for each other K̶I̶S̶S̶ ̶K̶I̶S̶S̶ ̶F̶A̶L̶L̶ ̶I̶N̶ ̶L̶O̶V̶E̶E̶E̶E̶E̶! 🥰 and that they're actual enemies! 😁 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙞 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚! ☹ i liked the first book better tbh, but maybe the next book will be even better. also, teagan and liam kinda got on my nerves a lil because in their inner thoughts they keep repeating: 𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 ✨𝙒𝙊𝙒𝙒𝙒𝙒𝙒𝙒𝙒𝙒𝙒!!!!✨ & 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙊𝙊𝙊𝙊𝙊𝙊𝙊 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙩, ✨𝙄 𝙒𝘼𝙉𝙉𝘼 𝘿𝙊 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙃𝙀𝙍, 𝘽𝙐𝙏 𝙎𝙃𝙀 𝙎𝘼𝙄𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙎𝙃𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝘿𝙊 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘽𝙔 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙁!!!✨ *pouts* 😔 anyway, they mentioned/described green eyes more than once???? 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙊𝙉: 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙇𝙔𝙔𝙔𝙔...✨𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙍𝘿 𝘼𝘾𝙏 𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙐𝙋!!!!✨ dont we all 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩??? 😍🤬 but the slap was funny/shocking tho 😋

Sweet story, based in misunderstanding, bad image and finally being honest. I love how their relationship develops and how she finally has somebody she trusts and is honest with , how her dream drives her and along the way she always helps people to be better and so better for themselves and everyone else.

In the end it was not a bad story, but just a typical high school romance. Nothing wrong with that.
It was only my mistake to choose this book after reading and listening to some more poignant and gripping YA stories with more depth, that I didn't enjoy this one from the start. Also the whining tone of the female narrator didn't help the matter.

Cute storyline and likeable characters. Predictable but hey, it's about the journey not the destination. The journey in this case had some abrupt pacing and did get me wondering about how much people think they can read each other's faces and also media literacy but not in a way that I think I was supposed to be considering those things.

This was a fun cute high school romance! Not the most realistic, but what romance books really are? Liked the character dynamics and how both Teagan and Liam were dealing with family issues and were able to help each other. Overall recommend if you want a quick easy fun read!

Okay get ready because I'm typing this out, meaning I'm about to write a whole essay

I'm also writing this during my virtual orientation which is from 9am-5pm Arizona time, or 6pm - 2 am🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

Okay so I like this author because she really gets to the point. There's no filler pages and chapters that are pointless, so it was a nice and easy read. Honestly I'd probably give this 3.5 stars

omg this girls voice doing the presentation is very monotoned. I finished this book while this thing was going on too.

so like, this book very much so has cringy parts. Like def "she's not like other girls because she doesn't wear makeup and is naturally beautiful" LIKE WHY IS WEARING MAKEUP SUCH A PROBLEM😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I mean I don't wear it but my skin breaks out and I don't even know how to use it but that doesn't make me ✨different ✨ or ✨special ✨

I really do like the theme...? of this book, like the story, not the lesson, idk how to explain it, but my biggest problem is how unrealistic this is. lemme give u the rundown:

Teagan, the mc, is a HS actress, apparently the "best one" the teacher has ever had and then she gets Belle in the play for Beauty and the Beast, but she gets pissed because this 17 former Disney actor who is now a "bad boy" in the media, is starring as Beast. Why is he at a HS? His director or whatever made him enroll in a HS for his new HS movie he's making. Apparently he's always been homeschooled so they were like "u need to go to a HS and get the feel of it". I'm sorry but like, imagine Zac Efron going to ur HS so he can get the feel of what it's like being in one. It's just so unrealistic, but ofc I'm just being picky.

Aside from that, the characters were fun and none of them were annyoing

OH!!!!

I JUST REMEMBERED

Teagan's mom is like an alcoholic and she's like "I need to hide my emotions and be brave" and blah blah blah. like bestie we all got our own problems. idk it seemed like she was trying to be made up to be this sort of savior and hero or something

ANYWAYS this book was 266 pages on kindle unlimited, but I did like this book. idk why I only find things to talk bad about books but this is me letting out my rants that I couldn't do in the progress updates

so I love the way this book is and the events it's just unrealistic but that's okay because if it were realistic then it would be boring

again, kindle unlimited, 266 pages, a free and short book. Literally could read in one sitting. I do recommend this book so 😛 u guys better put this on ur tbr

OH another thing, the author of this wrote the one with the bachelor I read a few weeks ago

omg I'm writing this instead of listening to safety stuff and the PD whoops

If I die while in college it's because I was writing this review and not paying attention so make this worth my time.

I read and liked The Wrong Bachelor last year, so when I found out there was going to be another installment, I slammed the preorder button faster than you can say "Beauty and the Beast." When The Wrong Costar finally showed up on my Kindle yesterday, I tore through it in a matter of hours!

Like its predecessor, The Wrong Costar is a quick, enjoyable read that's perfect for some light fluffy escapism. It features characters from The Wrong Bachelor -- including the female protagonist, Teagan, who was a side character in the first book -- but I think it works as a standalone as well as a sequel.

I liked the lead characters in this story even better than in the first. Teagan has clear goals and motivation right from the get-go, and her initial conflict with Liam is very believable given what she stands to lose if her play goes wrong. Liam himself is easy to sympathize with, and I found him a more likable love interest than Cole in the first book (who was kind of a douche for most of the story). As for the side characters, I was delighted to see that Evan got a lot of page time, and I also appreciated the reappearance of the egotistical student body president, Angus.

These kinds of stories can often be predictable, but the twists later on in the book had me genuinely wondering how everything was going to turn out happily ever after (luckily, of course, it did). Overall, this series has become my go-to for relaxing between heavier reads, and I look forward to the next book!

✨✨✨Teagan and Liam story was so much interesting , I really enjoyed it. I love relationships that start with so much hate, and than evolve In something so strong as love. These two are the perfect example of the fact that it isn't always what it looks like. they're good at hiding the truth , but when the mask falls it's like they finally found what they've been looking for.✨✨✨
I GIVE THIS ONE 4 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was good, I was definitely confused a bit and I feel like the plot felt a little forced. Teagan and Liam weren’t my favorite but in the end they were a cute couple. I adored the fact that they were in the beauty and beast play! 🤩❤️🕯️📸✏️

I’m kind of tired of the Hollywood-actor-in-a-normal-school romance. I know that’s a weird statement😂, but a surprising number of authors have done it. That said, this book was still cute, and I liked Liam. One thing that I’ve never seen before was that his whole bad-boy thing was an act. I never considered that an actor might want that type of reputation, but it makes sense.

It was a cute book to listen to, and I liked the actors. I still think the first book was a lot better, though.

it is currently 2 am, and honestly this series owns my heart.

now this book was good, but maybe not the best. I think the first book of this series, really set high expectations. though liam and teagan were very cute. I just couldn’t get the chemistry between them, maybe it was just me.

it was cute on how liam cares for teagan sm, and never judged her when she was going through a rough patch.

maybe if there was a little bit more angst between the two, I would’ve enjoyed this book way more, but honestly that’s just me. overall this book was entertaining in my eyes.

Really Good, I wish they would have shown how he confronted his mother and got rid of her, and how her mother got better and could see her perform for the first time in a while, but overall pretty good!

The Wrong Costar

I was actually disappointed with this book. I really enjoyed the first book of the series. However, this second book in my opinion fell short.

I found the main characters both Teagan and Liam to be uninteresting and unrelatable. They were basically both actors, same dreamer mindset, and basic personality with good looks to match. I wish this book had shown more creativity and diversity within the main characters and storyline. I feel like it would have improved the storyline and the characters would have been more interesting. Perhaps for example: if Liam actually was a bad boy, if Teagan was a nerd or maybe even a loner, or maybe another love interest to spice things up.

I really loved the “beauty and the beast” angle. However, I felt like it wasn’t done any justice. I would have liked to have a lot more beast. It just was not a very good book in my opinion. I’m going to give this a 3.1

2.5 stars. Another cute and predictable YA book where two people butt heads immediately. There were things that I hoped would happen that didn't end up happening but that's fine. It was definitely fun to read about Teagan and Liam clashing at every moment but it was clear they worked better together than against each other. I felt really bad for Teagan whenever she talked about her mom and Liam had a villain of a mother. His brother was probably my favorite supporting character besides Tanner (WHEN DOES HE GET A BOOK?!) I liked the first one more but this one had its moments for sure.
