Synchronicity can be defined as meaningful coincidence, those seemingly random incidents that connect people, objects and events without a recognizable cause. Synchronicity and You is a lively study of the diverse cultures that have explored this phenomenon, and a discussion of anecdotal evidence from individuals who've witnessed the power of synchronicity in their own lives. The significance of coincidence, the author asserts, clearly reveals our parts in the vast tapestry of existence, through which we are all related. Covering such topics as precognition, significant numbers, and shared dreams, this fascinating exploration provides a way to analyze and decode these events, allowing readers to recognize and interpret them, unlocking the deepest secrets of the subconscious and helping to make a powerful and positive impact on their everyday lives.
Frank Joseph is the pen name of Francis Joseph Collin, a former activist with the American Nazi Party/National Socialist White People's Party and the founder of the National Socialist Party of America. In 1979, Collin was convicted of child molestation and sentenced to seven years in prison, and he lost his position in the party.
Upon his release from prison, Collin reinvented himself under the pseudonym of Frank Joseph, a New Age writer and a pagan worshiper. In 1987, he had his first New Age book published, The Destruction of Atlantis: Compelling Evidence of the Sudden Fall of the Legendary Civilization.
He wrote articles for the magazine Fate, and between 1993 and 2007 he was also an editor of Ancient American. This magazine focuses on what it considers to be evidence of ancient, pre-Columbian transoceanic contact between the Old World and North America, with the implication that all complex aspects of North America's indigenous cultures must have originated on other continents.
Found this book and it really grabbed me. Synchronicity. The Etruscans had a book about it but it was lost. The only copy was burned when they razed the library of Alexandria. Claudius wrote about them, but that, too was lost
Finished this book and it was great. 17 types of synchronicity, and many examples of each kind. Kind of skimmed over those, but lots of the anecdotes really grabbed me. Wizard of Oz, petroglyphs in Peru of a monkey w/ out a thumb. Salmon Rushdie. Last 2 chapters really good. Book of Fate. I have been living the synchronous life anyway, but this book validates. Jung, Campbell, Einstein. Number 6607, & a murder of crows.
This book is super fantastic and I am following the plans in it.
I was a bit reserved on this topic and the beginning had me a bit on guard, I love this author but this book was a bit slow to start. Well it made up for the slow start very nicely, I found the examples of synchronicity very thought provoking and the historical references (he always uses) kept me intrigued. The fact he refers to Carl Jung & Great Greek philosophers makes this book a great read. If you believe in synchronicity or not, it spells out nicely how the idea has great antiquity, as well as the pratical use for the present. I may just try his methods for tracking this fascinating anomally of life!
This book has deepened my understanding of synchronicity, which I experience almost daily. Author’s idea of keeping “synchronicity journal” was wonderful and will prove to be of great value for everyone who experience and interested in synchronicity.
