Synchronicity: The Promise of Coincidence

Rate this book
Based on real-life experiences--Deike Begg's own and those of her clients--this is a simple and profound exposition of an idea that is often presented through the complicated mystification of physics or philosophy. Begg explores synchronicity as signposts and the universe's call of destiny. She describes in clear language how to recognize a i.e. if it is not an emotional response to the intersection of two different sorts of time or worlds it is not a synchronicity. Have you ever felt that someone or something is looking out for you? Have you ever sensed that you should follow a certain path, even though it seems the wrong one? Have you ever wondered at the strange coincidences that bring people together? This is synchronicity at work. Now you can discover an adventurous new way of living - based on conscious co-operation with the principle of synchronicity, or meaningful coincidence. This book explains how synchronicities act as signposts through the wilderness that seems to make up much of our daily lives. Deike Begg explores ideas of purpose, right timing, chance promise and providence, and addresses the question of fate - the often bizarre ways people who are destined to come together meet. Most importantly, she reveals the remarkable significance of synchronistic events and the important role they play in all our lives. Learn how to listen to the voice of destiny, and ultimately find your true vocation and purpose. Deike Begg is a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist, an astrologer with a worldwide reputation and practice, Rebirther, and past-life therapist. I've never hear about the ideas like that, synchronicity.
In my very first beginning of this idea, I'm not likely to agree it much, but it show me some interesting point of view on the matters which I've to face. It can attract me to explore further study on the essence of synchronicity.

Hope to do more reading on the subject but this book is great as an overview of Jung's theories. The chapter on astrology was particularly meaningful and I plan to read it over and over.

Going to read Rob and Trish Macgregor's book next and maybe Jung's again to drive the points home.
