Outside-In: A Lift-the-Flap Body Book

Rate this book
Originally published by Barron's more than two decades ago, Claire Smallman's child-friendly narrative tells kids about their bodies and how they work. For many seasons following its first publication, " Outside-In " was popular with parents and kids. Now, it's back again in a new format, keeping the same text, but adding all-new and contemporary full-color illustrations on every page. Written in child-friendly language, " Outside-In " explains the human body's skin, the function of breathing and the lungs, the structures of bones and teeth, eating and digestion, blood and circulation, and the body's muscles. Boys and girls can lift flaps on many illustrations to see the body's organs, bones, and muscles. Here's a longtime favorite volume back again to educate a new generation of children.
