Mexican Slang Plus Graffiti

Rate this book
A unique book that reveals the hip talk and occasionally lewd eloquence of the Spnaish commonly spoken in Mexcio and Latin America. Whether you want to use the words, avoid them, or simply want to understand them when you hear them, this book clears up the confusion. Also includes examples of slang commonly found in graffiti on buildings, bridges, and fences.

A useful book for learning Mexican slang. Chapters are divided by topics, so you can learn words for a specific theme. There is also a glossary in the back to find a specific Mexican slang word from the book or to look it up by its English equivalent. This book is good for familiarizing yourself with Mexican slang, but some chapters do have some explicit and vulgar language. I have been using this book and making flash cards from the primary terms to help me in my court interpreter training, and in general it has helped me to understand more conversations involving Mexican slang and idioms.
