Robert tapped his pencil on his notebook. White Bear. White bears were polar bears. Was it so cold in Minnesota that they had polar bears? "Tonight," said Mrs. Bernthal, "start thinking about what you will write in your first note to your e-mail buddy." Robert had plenty of things to look up. Now he wanted to find out more about what it was like in Minnesota, and if there were polar bears in White Bear. He'd better get a chance at the computer tonight. He'd have to let everyone know it was an emergency.
