Why do people swear? Are there cultures that don't swear? What do different cultures use for swear words, and what does it say about them? These and many other interesting questions will go totally unanswered by this book.

It's just a collection of articles from some academic journal. Some of them are vaguely interesting. Most of them are just big lists. The author's wikipedia page is a much more interesting read.
