Can this curvy thief steal the grumpy mountain man’s heart after a break-in gone wrong?
Laura
I wasn't breaking and entering. I was on my way to grandma's house. That's the honest truth. The fact that I'm dressed like a cat burglar should be of no importance to anyone. Not even the hot mountain man whose cabin I accidentally stumbled into.
The coming snowstorm is unexpected...so is the citizen's arrest. The problem is I've never wanted to let anyone search me so badly. This mountain man might be gruff and grumpy, but he's welcome to handcuff me anytime.
Nash
Yeah, she was on her way to grandma’s house. And I’m the big, bad wolf. Although I can’t deny that there’s definitely something in me that wants to eat her up, this snowstorm is the only thing keeping her here.
As soon as I can, I’m washing my hands of trouble and turning her over to the sheriff. That was my plan. But the more time I spend around the curvy little thief, the more I think it’s my heart that’s in danger.
If you love a grumpy alpha male who falls hard and loves his curvy woman fiercely, it’s time to meet Nash in Owned by the Mountain Man.
Courage County mountain men love curves! These flannel-wearing, wood-cutting lumberjack men are gruff and grumpy. But underneath it all, they have hearts of gold just waiting to be uncovered by the curvy women they claim. Cuddle up with these sexy new book boyfriends from Mia Brody today!

Nash is a watchmaker that repairs and restores watches. After an accident as a teenager he went blind. But he lives a comfortable life with his store and his little dogs. But for the last few weeks he feels a presence of another person...Laura is a thief and her new target is Nash. But after two weeks of following and plain stalking things change. A blizzard and a remote cabin finally give them a chance to get to know each other. 😉 Instalove, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe (oh I love double virgins 🥰🥰) with a beautiful HEA and without drama😍😍😍😍
I love these mountain man stories. Nash knows someone is watching him even tho he’s blind. He also knows it’s female. He wakes one night and catches her trying to steal from him. But what he really wants is to keep her. Fast paced, steamy and sweet wonderful mountain man story.
I don’t even know where to start—thank you for letting me be part of your world, even if it was only for a short time. Your love story felt like a miracle, something that reminds the rest of us of the power of true connection and belonging.
Nash, with your quiet strength and your big, loyal heart, you’ve shown me how love can heal even the deepest wounds, how it’s not just about what you see, but what you feel.
And Laura, your courage and resilience left me in awe. You may have come from a place of shadows, but you’ve reminded me that we can all find our way into the light, especially when we have someone who sees us truly. Watching you two come together felt like coming home.
The warmth, the trust, and the way you’ve chosen each other every step of the way… it was the kind of love that goes beyond words. It’s rare and beautiful, and I’m just so grateful to have experienced it through you. Give all of my love to Frankie, Beans, Ellie, Zach, and Chris💛💜🤍💙🧡💚🖤❤️💗!
And of course, meeting all the Courage County men was an unforgettable bonus! Brennon and Cadence especially hold a special place because if not for them I wouldn't have known that heaven on earth (or more like on Mountains), existed and I can’t wait to revisit Courage County and all of you again soon.
I hope that all the single Mountain Men soon get their Curvy Queens by their sides!
Thank you again, for everything.
With all my love and admiration, a reader whose day you made.
This series is a group of great books. Now it is Nash’s turn. Nash is blind, but he has compensated and it was very interesting to see how he handled everything. My grandfather has just gone blind, so I’m planning on telling him some of these tricks. Nash has two French bull dogs, one is disabled, which is Frankie and his brother, Beans tries to help out. A female someone has been following him for nearly two weeks and he owns a shop where he makes and repairs watches. He can’t prove that she is real, as she never leaves any trace behind. Duke, a teenager who cares for his mom and younger siblings, drives Nash around and assists Nash with the things he can’t do by himself, like taking pictures of the wares.
As a blizzard is coming to Courage County, Nash says out loud that they can come to the cabin and cuddle. He knows his stalker is a woman from her scent. Laura is a thief, the thief who has been following and watching Nash. It is amazing how she does what she does. I love their interactions and the fact that she shares my name. Lol. After a few misunderstandings, everything goes all right. The rest of the mountain men show up. That part is absolutely hysterical.
I really enjoyed this story as I have all the other books that I have read from this author. Great read.

Owned By The Mountain Man is Book 2 of Courage County Curves. It's a short and steamy OTT, instalove, age-gap, double virgin, curvy girl gets her imperfectly perfect mountain man. Laura is a young, curvy thief who was raised in the foster system. Nash is a hunky mountain man who became blind as a teenager after an accident. When Laura initially targets Nash's clock shop as her next target, she doesn't expect to fall for the hunky, blind mountain man. She ends up silently watching him at his shop and cabin for two weeks. Nash can sense her and knows she's there but longs to talk to her. When a snowstorm hits, he invites her to his cabin, not knowing if she'll accept. She does, but he catches her, trying to steal a watch from his safe. He places her under citizens' arrest, but she's already stolen his heart. He wants to convince her to stay. Can he? Can she trust him? I loved this couple so much. Both felt forgettable to others, but to each other, they were everything. The chemistry was hot, the drama was low, and the ending was super happy. And for the record, Frankie and Beans are absolutely adorable!!! I loved it and can't wait for Trace's story next!!
DELIGHTFUL!! Looking for a low-angst, smexy and sweet romance? Look no more because Nash and Laura's story is here. It's about two people who've both been deeply hurt in life, and have evolved in different directions. When their paths collide, they recognize something in the other. Nash is more sure of his feelings whereas Laura is skittish. She's going to take some convincing, but this does not faze Nash whatsoever.
I'm giving it a 5++ star rating because Nash captured my heart and is my new book boyfriend. He's so kind and treats Laura with such love and care. I'm also a sucker for a man who loves on his pets, and Nash has two pups in his life, Frankie and Bean. Also, both Laura and Nash are double Vs, but wow! Nash is a dirty talker. Whew! So hot! But it's not merely a book focused on sex. Brody does a lovely job of developing their characters, and I rooted for this couple's HEA. What a feel good, poignant story! :) I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Nash is the mountain man that every woman needs in her life. Holy cannoli that man is all kinds of hotness. You will quickly forget that he is blind with how smoothly he maneuvers inside his world. I loved this book right from the start with him sensing Laura’s closeness. I loved how he brought her out of the shadows and into his light. Laura is a beautiful soul with a sad background. Both her and Nash have sad stories and have made their own way in life as a result. Unfortunately Laura’s leads her to live as a thief. Or is it fortunately since it brings her to Nash? When they are snowed in together it gives them a chance to learn about each other and the pure souls that they each possess. I loved this book from start to finish. Nash is so swoon worthy and the HOT and SPICY scenes just added to his drool inducing character. Possibly even better than all of that was the sweet extra epilogue that was available on Mia Brody’s website. It made my heart smile at the life they are now living and the way that Nash and Laura use their pasts to bring happiness to others.
I enjoyed Owned by the Mountain Man Book 2 of Courage County Curves. Nash can sense and smell her, he even talks to her but he hasn’t caught her yet. Everyone thinks he’s crazy but he knows she’s there. Laura is a thief and she’s been biding her time to steal a watch from Nash, the problem is she likes him but he wouldn’t want a thief. When he catches her breaking into his safe during a snow storm he calls the police but something draws him to Laura and he knows they are meant to be together forever. Can he convince her though? They have an amazing connection but he can fell her pulling away. Laura is trying to do the right thing. She’s going to turn herself in but Nash would never allow it. Can there be a future for these two. Such a sweet storyline and I loved the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Nash lives on the mountain like his friends, he owns a shop where he sells and repairs watches. Even though he is blind, he knows that someone has been watching him. He is intrigued by her and when he closes up shop when a storm is due in, he invites her to come stay with him. Laura is a thief, she has never taken so long on a job before but something about Nash makes her feel at home. She has hidden in his shop watching him for weeks but hasn't taken anything from him yet. When she finally decides to make her move, Nash catches her but she is not sorry to have been caught. Laura grew up in foster care, she doesn't think that she belongs anywhere or that anyone can want her. Can Nash convince her of how he feels for her and make his forever.
I enjoyed reading this book and cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Super hot chemistry and a soul deep connection defines Nash and Laura’s relationship. She may have been watching him with the intention of stealing from him, but the only thing that is stolen is each other’s hearts. Both were throw aways in their youth, abandoned by family who should have loved them, so love really wasn’t even on their radar. Somehow, over the past two weeks, even without speaking to each other, both have been aware the connection between them. It goes beyond a visual or even physical connection into the realm of a spiritual and emotional tether to each other. In a world where both have good reasons not to trust, both Nash and Laura quickly trust their hearts and each other. This insta love romance is also delightfully steamy. Enjoy!.

I always enjoy Mia Brody's stories. She has such a way of giving her characters a realness, especially because they usually aren't perfect. They each come with what many would see as a flaw. But I enjoy reading about REAL people who don't have it all together, because I certainly don't either.
Nash may be a blind man, but he sure can SEE Laura. Laura has never truly been seen before and is shocked that a blind man is the one who can do it. They make an amazing couple and their happily-ever-after is so sweet and perfect for who they are as a couple.
And don't miss the bonus scene available at the end of the book!.

I so enjoyed reading this book! Nash is a mountain man who happens to be blind. He is very independent though. For a while, he has sensed someone - a woman watching him. At times, he even talks to her trying to coax her into talking back to him. Laure has been watching Nash for almost 2 weeks now and doesn’t understand the connection that she seems to have with him. Both characters were wonderful and getting to know them was intriguing yet heartbreaking. So much happens between them in the short time that they spend together but it all flows so naturally. Nash and Laura’s story is a beautiful story to be enjoyed!.

Nash wasn’t always blind, but due to an accident in his teens, he lost his sight and has to rely on his other senses. So these are more heightened, and he feels a presence of a woman that no one else can see her. Laura is crafty and she moves in the shadows, which makes her a good thief. She has been watching Nash for a couple of weeks and looking for the perfect opportunity to steal a watch she has been eyeing. Growing up in the foster care system had been hard on her and all of her life she has been looking for a place to call home. When they finally “meet” she is trying to steal the watch from Nash in the middle of a snowstorm. That gives them a couple of days together. Will they part ways after the snowstorm? Will Nash turn her over to the police? On a sidenote, I love Frankie and Beans and the way Nash carries them around on his chest.
The MMC owns a watch repair shop and relies on the eyes of others for certain aspects of his life such as driving him to and from work. After experiencing a total loss of family and vision as a teen, he’s adapted to his other senses to his surroundings — therefore he knows that there is someone lurking in his shop hiding in the shadows even if no one else can see her. There’s a faint vanilla scent any time she shows up and after a time it becomes comfortable knowing that she’s there watching. Random, yes her name is random as she was a random accident per her mom, can’t help but wonder what it would be like if she could be normal… and go on a date with Nash however, she also can’t help but try to steal his high priced watches.
Nash was in a car accident as a teenager, all the other in the car died, he was left blind. He was abandoned by his parents and settled in this mountain town. He knows she is there, he can sense her, he believes she is a thief. It has been two weeks and nothing is missing.
Laura was there to steal something from Nash, but there is something about him that has her sticking around. When he catches her in his house and makes a citizen's arrest, she does not want to leave.
I loved these two, both were abandoned and found something special in Courage County.

Nash (H), blind since a car accident as a teen, lives in his mountain cabin with his two Frenchies, Frankie and Beans. He can’t see her, but Nash knows that a hidden figure has been watching him in his high end-watch shop. Laura (h) watched Nash, planning on stealing expensive watches but instead finds herself drawn to him and takes him up on his offer to join him at his cabin. Nash manages to catch the young thief in a citizen’s arrest, but a snowstorm finds them spending time together getting to know one another. Things heat up between Nash and Laura and he’s not sure he wants to let her go. Sweet age gap mountain romance with side of heat.
Being blind inhaled Nash's other senses so he was able to tell that he was being watched. Laura been watching Nash for sometime looking for the perfect time to steal a particular watch. She never expected to be caught by him. All her life, she had looked for a place to call home, but she was always went unnoticed. Nash could actually relate to that feeling as he was unwanted after losing his sight. In a way fate brought them together making a perfect pair. Enjoy this wonderful book that started as a robbery in the middle of a blizzard turning soon a sensual love story and Laura finding a place to call home.

I was really looking forward to this story and Nash was as wonderful as I imagined him to be! Laura is a thief who has been stalking Nash (who is blind) from the shadows waiting to strike. Nash is aware of her presence but she never acknowledges him. Laura is struggling to complete the theft the more she watches Nash. When he catches her red handed and they end up trapped together in a storm both realise they want more, they are meant for each other. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, wonderful friends, a loving, caring hero and a beautiful HEA.

Book 2 of Courage County Curves. Nash is blind and has two French Bulldogs. One is disabled and the other looks after him. Nash us a watch maker and because of his blindness his other senses are heightened. He knows he’s being followed and he can tell if Laura is near him even if she’s absolutely quiet. Laura has been travelling the country stealing things and searching for someplace to call home and someone to love her. This was an engaging read. Nash is an absolute sweetheart and loving and tender with the dogs and then Laura. Laura finds her home that she’s always wanted. Lots of steamy time with these two. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I loved the premise of this novel and was SUPER excited to read about a blind MMC who falls in love with a FMC who is trying to steal from him BUT this was such a short book that I had a difficult time believing in the characters and their story. I would have loved for there to be more conversation and interactions between Nash/Laura and the rest of the supporting characters. The lack of storytelling wrecked my rating, I would certainly read other Mia Brody books but hope that novels outside of this series are more intentional in their storytelling and plot building.
Nash us a blind mountain man and clock tinkerer. He’s sensed someone watching him for weeks but she never says a word. Laura/Randy is a thief that has her eyes on some of the watches in Nash’s store. But as she watches him, she realizes she has her eye on more than watches. What will happen when he catches her mid- heist? Can these two forgettable people find they could never forget the other? A sweet read! I liked that they both finally found the home they’ve been craving!.

Laura is a thief, looking for her next score. Nash has a small shop, where he repairs watches. While working he can sense someone around him, even though he cannot see.
This fast read has a bit of suspense, a lot of passion and love that melts your heart and makes you smile. It warms my heart the friends Nash has and that they are willing to come help when needed. Laura has had a rough path, but soon with Nash finds what she has been wanting.
Great tale for an afternoon escape.

Nash’s story. He is awesome. Blind but has super senses even to detect her presence even if she doesn’t make any noise. How he healed her even with all the experiences he’s had since the accident was beautiful. Yes, it was frustrating how many times she said she wanted to leave. But I lived his dominance and how he managed everything. I loved this book too. Loved how present his friends are in his life. I would read again!! SAFE. no om/ow, no cheating, no separation.
This is Book 2 of Courage County Curves starring Laura and Nash. What a great loners to lovers love story with the funnest love story you will read so far. I loved how these two meet or one meets the other smells them. I loved all the corky ways these two just seem to work so well together. I can not wait for the next mountain man love story.

I was really excited about this one but it was not the one for me. I give Nash 4 stars for being sweet and understanding. Laura i can only give 2 stars to I could have gotten behind the stealing if she needed to but when you have a way to more than support yourself (millions!?); stealing from others with less just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I did love this book. It was hard not to. Laura is a Thief but on her way to her grandma's house she stops at Nash's place but gets caught in a snow storm but also not allowed to leave. I loved Nash's big grumpy personality, but really so sweet underneath. He was mainly just lovely and he saw what he liked. That was Laura with all her attitude. I really enjoyed the book.

Loved Laura & Nash's story. He's a gruff, older mountain man who's been followed by the younger Laura. A snowstorm traps them together before the sheriff can come collect her. The atmosphere changes, becoming more heated as they spend time together. Will Nash hand Laura over when the sheriff turn up?.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I was intrigued by Nash's character at the end of Brennon's story. Laura was a great match for him right from the start. What I loved the most about their story was that they fell for each other before sight and communication was needed. They could feel each other soul deep, which in turn made me feel their connection from the pages. I thought that this storyline was a winner. I really enjoyed it and the characters
Loved the book. Nash is blind but his other senses are so honed that you tend to forget he is blind. He senses Laura before he even meets her. She is there to steal from him but she gets lost in her thoughts and he catches her. Now what to do? There is a blizzard now so he has to keep her at his cabin until the sheriff can come and take her away. But when the time comes to give her to the sheriff, Nash doesn't want to lose her.
