When I read it for a while I really liked it, but then I took a break to read other books and I found out this book is a little low quality.

This book is a very funny book. You will not want to put it down. But, it is a very easy to read book I would suggest this book to people who have trouble in reading. This book also has illustration in almost every page to help you see whats going on.

Goofy story about kid who gets superpowers from eating cupcakes made by his younger, bossy sister. Recommended by a 2nd grader, who gave me his own copy to add to the library collection!

A fun read, with a young hero, imbued with super powers at the whim of a bossy older sister. Outrageous adventure that all ends well.

Reread as an adult and noticed it lacks the charm and humor of Captain Underpants and its underlying messages of friendship and creativity. This story just wasn't as compelling, interesting, or freshly written or tongue in cheek. Not bad for a kids superhero book but I think it could've been paced a bit better and more interestingly and maybe a bit less cliche'd
