Hisaya Nakajo (中条比紗也) was a Japanese shōjo manga artist. She also used the names Peco Fujiya and Ryou Fumizuki for doujinshi with her circle, Daisanteikoku.
Intense volume. Plenty of Angry Sano (wow, we are very far from the beginning...) and cute Mizuki trying to help. Nakatsu was also very involved and finally understood Mizuki's feelings.
Volume 17 is basically the universe asking, “How many dramatic coincidences can we cram into one school term?” and the answer is: all of them. Between sports events, awkwardly charged moments, and Nakatsu spiraling into Olympic-level overthinking, it’s a perfect mix of romance and absurdity. Mizuki’s secret somehow stays intact, which at this point feels like a supernatural plot device. Four stars for the laughs, the blushing faces, and the sheer commitment to keeping the truth hidden against all odds.
Not much happens this volume, but years later, I still remember Mizuki gifting Izumi honey lemon. It’s such a sweet act and moment. I don’t really buy the intensity between father and son but oh wells as least there’s still cute Shin. 3.3/5
Oh my god!!!1! I loooove this seriesss!! It's my favorite shoujo series and my second favorite manga series of ALL TIME! I just love everything about it!! I would totally do what Mizuki did.. though I don't think I could get away with it.... especially not in a Japanese school... -_- WELL! That's just not fair. Anyway, It's sooooo funny! AH! It's all so great! I can't contain the fan-girl in me! :O I even loved the TV series! (Especially the Taiwanese one! Ella and Jiro were hilarious!)
I binge read all of Hana Kimi. It's easy to see why that is so easy once you get into the second chapter of the series. Hana Kimi is filled with complex character moments, tension, and fun. All the characters come to life and its hard to put the story down. I've read my fair share of manga over the years and will continue to. I have the feeling that Hana Kimi will remain one of my favorites. I can't wait to get in a reread.
Not my favorite volume. I'm getting a little tired of the track meet. I did really like the scene with Mizuki and Sano's dad and the honey lemon slices. I'm hoping that all this drama and angst will trigger something more extreme between Sano and Mizuki pretty soon... as long as Nakatsu doesn't get in the way. I love him, but... I don't love love triangles.
i kinda wish she would pick nakatsu. but thay isn't going to happen. oh well. he's just so nice to her, she should reconsider this whole sano or nothing thing
I`m giving 5 stars only because of Nakatsu. I`m sick on Sano who always makes Mizuki feel like crap. If it was me I would pick Nakatsu and send Sano bye-bye
