I really like that in this book you get to see things from Lizzie's point of view, because you normally get Jack's in this series. I like Jack, but I'd prefer to have the point of views shared between them, because he can get quite annoying sometimes.
I also think that the thing with The Bean's fur isn't very funny which I think it was meant to be. I haven't really liked the bean that much throughout the whole series, I've been finding him more annoying than cute and funny.
I like the way Lizzie really wants to keep Noodle, but ends up having to give him away because that's a thing most kids can relate to, whether it was about a toy, or a book, or even a pet, and it'll show younger kids that it sometimes good to give away things, even if you really want it.

Lizzie and her younger brother, Charles, are in elementary school. They have a puppy named Buddy plus foster dogs and help them find homes.

The Peterson family are having their annual winter picnic at the lake when Lizzie notices something in the water. Looking through binoculars, she realizes a puppy had fallen in the the semi-frozen lake and is struggling to gt out. Mr. Peterson is a fireman and contacts his colleagues who save the puppy. With no collar, the Petersons take him home and name him Noodle and try to find his family. They wonder if he has been abandoned since it seems like no one is looking for him.

Though this book is a quick read and directed at elementary-aged children, I found it entertaining. There is a learning experience and a puppy tip at the end. It is written in third person perspective and first person from Noodle's point of view. It is the eleventh in the Puppy Place series, which currently has 64 books in the series, and works as a stand alone.

A typical Puppy Place book. I still hate the dog having a voice. I think that is a strange conceit. However, I really like in this book that Lizzie really wants to keep this dog, and kind of thinks selfishly about keeping Noodle. I like that she has to give him back to his owner, and that her initial assumptions about the owners were 100% wrong. A nice series for kids to see how these types of things happen.

It's alright and so are the other books in the series but one of the main characters, Lizzie, gets on my nerves omg cuz she's a know-it-all and bossy to her younger brother (which you would plainly see if you read the book "Flash" in this series). I feel kinds stupid reading these too cuz I'm 14 years old lol. The only reason I'm reading them now is cuz when I was like 6 or 7, I made my mom buy these but then never read them and now I feel bad cuz I made her spend a ton of money on these little kid books so I'm reading them now, I read as many over the summer and on weekends as I can since I can't bring them to school because they're not age appropriate. Overall tho, I think they're great for younger kids or the young at heart.

Lizzie and her family are at Loon Lake in winter when Lizzie notices something on the ice struggling in what appears to be a melted portion. As she walks closer she sees it is a dog and quickly alerts her parents to get help. The rescue team arrives and gets the dog to safety, but with no I.D. or leads to where he belongs, Lizzie and her family foster the puppy and begin their hunt for his home. Calling him "Noodle," Lizzie forms a bond with the pup and begins to feel sad at the thought of finding his people and never seeing him again. This was a sweet story with some good lessons for kids intertwined. The chapters were a good length as well for reading with a younger crew. 4.5 stars

When Lizzie was playing by the frozen river she saw a hole in the ice. When she looked there to her horror she saw a poor and miserable puppy in the icy cold water!
Will it be all right?

They need to find the puppies real home. The puppy can't wait to get home to his family.
I love the puppy place series. Do you?

I think that the book was great because it was very intense. The main character Noodle was stuck in the ice so the Peterson family helped them out. It was also an awesome book because the Family that saved Noodle didnt fall in the ice.

A GREAT STORY OF A PUPPY AND GIRL WHO LOVE DOGS.

It was my first ebook. I wanted a short story. I love animal stories. A great book for children of all ages. Will teach children to read a collection of similar stories.

It is a nice book. It shows you what to do when you do find a missing puppy. I like the part where Noodle gets rescued.
