The Mind Spider’s first goal is to dominate your brain. Once it enters your head, the only door out is your eyes; it will not exit through that door until the moment of your death and before it leaves it will destroy the mind it has used. Walsh Henry is invaded by the Mind Spider as it seeks to make him into a slave, doing the devil’s work to help it to own other human beings. Walsh’s battle to survive, to save his daughter, and to rid himself of the Beast is the center of an adventure of the heart as well as of the mind.
